That had nothing to do with your eyes, I think. The reason it is fuzzy at times is when they use normal cameras they need to focus on something so the foreground can be fuzzy, but in the CG scenes everything looks phenomenal. I have good eyesight and noticed that in the indoor scenes like in the lab and such, it was odd trying to look at a fuzzy person or scenery element because the main actors were a little further back.
The people I was with didn't wear glasses (Normal ones) and they were fine.

Here's something that's interesting. It's kind of a combo of Virtual Reality and 3-D.

...5-8% of the population is stereoblind, which means they can't see 3D at all. And apparently another 20-30 percent have this condition to a lesser extent, which means they don't get the full effects.
I think I might be slightly stereo blind.... Another form of "3-D" tech is this
interesting video [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd3-eiid-Uw] It only works for one person, but doesn't require stereo vision.
I love that guy. I wish Nintendo would actually make games that used this tech. It's an awesome video.

I said that it's going and I won't miss it but I actually believe (unfortunately) that it's staying. I hate 3-D and fail to see the point in it. When I saw Avatar for the first time I saw it in 2-D and the entire film blew my away. I saw it again a week later in 3-D and I wasted 2 and a half hours waiting to be impressed by the visuals while my brain achced so much I swore it was bleeding. I do not understand 3-D and I want it gone

I really hope Nintendo applies 3D to thw Wii after they're done with the 3DS. Being able to see depth would help a lot with their games.

I would like to see it in games but it just isn't going to happen. Why develop something to cater to the very few people with 3D Tv. I mean we haven't got a majority of people with true HD yet. I have a 40" 720p tv that works great, But I am no where near ready to shell out 3 grand for slightly better resolution and little 3d effects for a tv of the same size.

Best case scenario for me right now is it will drive down the price of big, high def plasma's and I pick up a massive 1080i while the fad is still going on.

Oh ok well, I'm sorry to hear that. I really enjoyed the 3D movies I've seen so it's definitely too bad you can't appreciate them.

Personally, I'd love to see the glasses 3D go away. When we can produce actual 3D models, count me in, but I just see no allure in the false 3D. Not to mention its already been proven to be really stressful on the eyes by how easy it is to get a headache from 3D gaming peripherals now.

It is going to be the thing of the future, every tv will have 3d capabilities with in 20 years, but for video games it would suck. I don't know if you have ever seen a 3d movie but only the center of the screen is 3d and think of having a 3d teammate in your face blocking your view of the militia gunman slightly left of the center of the screen.

Nah uh never going to happen.

It's already <link=http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_Main.html>here.

Judge from this.

I imagine it being pretty awesome in games.

In films it's generally pretty inobstrusive unless you're watching some gimmicky trash.
In games though you get to experiment with the effects yourself, and i imagine it'd add a ton to the immersion in some games.

I won't be sad to see it go though. It's nice for the moment but it's not worth the hype it's getting and i imagine it getting boring really soon.

A mate of mine got this and let me play CS: Source and Bioshock 2 on it, have to say though that I hated it, its really disorientating. Maybe 3D is good enough to watch stuff and unwind, but not when your trying to concentrate with it.

I'm typically immune to disorientation. I play Mirror's Edge without the orientation dot.

3d is here to stay because, once its done properly, will bring about a whole 'nother level of immersion.

However, until such a time, 3d can GTFO of my games. You've already ruined movies with your shitty glasses and your gimmicky and fake "3d JUMP OUT OF THE SCREEN AT YOUR FACE COME FLYING AT YOU AND ITLL BE SOOOO COOOOOL" effects.

just stop. before you ruin something else good.
I think in order for the tech to get better, we may have to deal with the stupid glasses and what not.

If it ever becomes popular for gaming, that will be the day I hang up my controller for good.
