I have enough moniez for a PS3, but I'm debating on getting it. None of my friends have it, and they might kill me for getting one, and the real reason I want one is for Infamous, and a few other exclusive.

I have a PS3 and I love it. Biggest con is that all my friends own only a Xbox360, thus me being left in the dark a lot.

If you want to get a console, either xbox or ps3 is as good as the other (with the exception of a few exclusives they are essentially identical.) So yeah, just choose one. It doesn't really matter.

im an xbox 360 owner and i usually wouldnt recommend a ps3 but now that the slim version is cheaper it all depends on which exclusives you'd prefer... the ps3 has a solid list off games so you'd be getting a good deal no matter which you get... and i dont know about everyone else, but basically all my friends are xbox owners so it seemed like the wiser purchase in my situation

I would say go for the same consoles your friends have, sure the PS3 has a lot of good exclusives but so does the xbox, I generally play the console that my friends are on unless an exciting exclusive has come out.
