Poll: Is anybody else sick of hearing or seeing lol?

I find that when lol is overused it becomes annoying as shit.And some times the uses are just stupid
"i don't get it lol", or ,"please respond lol".
it isnt that funny that you dont get it or you want a response people will respect you more if you stop using it in stupid pllaces like that.

i agree entirely. the odd, appropriate use is fine, like when you text someone a joke and they reply 'lol', that's fine but 'you coming out tonight? should be good, lol' or 'long time no see, lol' (both of which i have received) are just stupid

I hate it with a passion, and have done for quite some time.

My main problem is that it's so overused that it's now utterly meaningless; you can tack it onto the end of any sentence you like and somehow it'll still make sense, as per one of my friend's neverending text messages which say: "What was the homework lol?"

People need to stop saying it and learn to actually type. Or laugh, in the case of the idiots who actually say it in the real world.
