Well, just going through some turbulent teenage drama (oh to be young).
But I was just hoping to get my brothers and sisters' opinions here on the escapist.
So should you tell your friend what they are doing is wrong/retarded or just stick with them and say nothing?

Edit: And I think my poll disappeared.

You tell them that it's wrong.
But just because you tell them it's wrong, do you have to abandon them?
No not abandon them as well, just if they do something insanely stupid/awful do you tell them despite what they think, trying to be an honest friend essentially.

Best to do what you believe. If you feel he is in the wrong enough to be corrected, correct him. If not, don't.

To Quote Dumbledore: "It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but even more to stand up to your friends"

depends, if you know it's wrong, but know it'll be funny, stick w/, just aslong as it's nothing serious (ie murder, ect) but generally, no? i tell them wtf r they doing? and go along w/ it if they're solid bout it, if not, they end up going "eh, guess i won't then" s'bout it :p

It depends on what you're talking about really, though I assume you're not willing to divulge what exactly your friend is doing that's so wrong, so I'm not sure how to advise you.

dont be afraid to tell them they are wrong.
But if they are in a fight with someone else, stick with them at the time

Definitive answer: If it could honestly hurt them or screw up their life etc. = TELL THEM
If it won't really affect them in the big picture = Let them make the mistake and learn their lesson.

It depends on what he or she did.
Goes out with someone for two years. Breaks up with them for not "getting any" in a little while, then has sex with ex's best friend in less then a week, dumps them and ttys to crawl back to the first who promptly rejects.
Then proceeds to whine about it on facebook.

True friends tell each other when they're screwing up--and thank each other for it later when the dust clears. That's what they are for.

Tell them they're wrong, and acting like a douche. If they don't like it they can make their own decision about whether they want anything to do with you.

Trust me, this shit doesn't get any easier the older you get either. Depending on the situation the stakes can get even higher than losing a friend or two.

You'd like to think that but it really depends on the individual you're dealing with. I seriously doubt my former best friend would listen to me if I were to tell him he was being a total jackass with all the shit he's pulled in the last year and a half.

Some people will continue to do what they're doing even when they're alienating almost all of their friends and even their own family members when 'love' is involved.

Yeah two of my friends are of the "If your not with me your against me mindset".
It's to be expected that you meet childish people in your life. It's so much worse though when they have a huge ego/sense of entitlement as well.

I was telling my Dad about the time that I busted somebody's claim that they had "psychic and prophetic" dream on such a thorough level that they actually got angry. He then said to me "You know, you don't have to be ajemas, Destroyer of Dreams". I think that if they aren't hurting anyone with their beliefs, just leave them be. That being said, if they are actually an idiot, I would just intellectually bitchslap them and be done with it.

Distance yourself from this person. Now.

It's a trap!

Throug my 18 years of life I have discovered that the best friends in life are the ones you can tell there wrong. If they constantly whine about you teliing them their wrong then they are clearly not a good friend. For example the following happened to me.

Me: What's you favorite Smashing Pumpkins Album?
Friend: Probably Melon Colie and the Eternal Saddness.
Me: You Mean Infinite Saddness?
Friend: Your a terrible friend, all you ever do is correct me.

Not even kidding the guy was straight up series and avoided me for a while after that.

Not heres an example of a good friend.
Me: Look man you have to ask yourself Bros or Hoes?
Friend: Hoes!
Me: What the heck man you always stick up for your bros, it's like common sense.
Friend: Sure Thomas Paine.

I make fun of them until I grow bored.

... I might have discovered the reason why I have no friends left!
