Until other browsers have 'noscript' to protect against zero day drive by exploits, no dice....

Oh, then it must be better. Firefox pissed me off with its latest update. I need a fucking home button, geniuses. And I should be able to put it wherever I want.

I've run side-by-side tests of Chrome and IE9, and Chrome is faster, better stronger.

Look, Daft Punk agrees with me

Just sayin, on a small screen it means its gonna waste less space.

It's slow, ugly and does not work on most of websites. So no, it's still. Not "cool"

As others have said its not a matter of ''cool'' its a matter of security. IE6 onwards had gaping holes in its security that FF , chrome and safari never had. Pretty much since then I and others avoid IE like the plague.

Protip: Firefox 4 has both a home button and the option to place them where you want on the browser bar.

Right click the browser bar and click customize. You can add whatever buttons you want and drag them around to where you prefer.

Speaking as a web designer and developer, all versions of IE should die this very instant and never return.

I use Firefox and don't really have an opinion about the "coolness" of IE.

BUT on my I'M-SO-SMARTPhone (HTC Mozart) I use Internet Explorer.

Windows Phone 7 :)
Not cool, but at least it's not Apple or frAgmentatioNDROID

Opera, people, Opera! Norwegian quality! IE is still a big hole in security as it always was. It's part of it design philosophy. I only use IE as a way to get opera.

When I found out Firefox had tabs, I would never look back. When I found out Chrome treated every tab as a separate process, I would never look back....again.

Used to use Firefox, switch to Opera for a bit, then FF 3 came out and was faster. Then Chrome came out and was awesome. Switched and never looked back. Why should I be interested in switching again - Chrome is great, and Explorer is seriously stigmatised after decades of mediocrity and poor performances.

Been using it ever since I installed 64-bit Windows 7. I even installed Firefox and ran the two together for comparison and went with Internet Explorer.

To maximize performance I have no firewall and no autorun antivirus checker, and I've never had any major issues.

Internet Explorer has only one purpose: To download Firefox!

But if you really want to use it for something else, that's up to you.

OPINION: IE is very bad.

For me it let in pretty much every virus under the sun, changing to chrome has improved my pc health immensely, and I love the minimalist, pure page-space layout of chrome, it is fast enough and I make my own chrome themes.

But each to their own. Not like you have internet-browsing parties every weekend where all your friends judge (Assumption here) so it shouldn't matter.

REAL men use Firefox. Or Chrome.
Nothing's stopping them from using Explorer either.
Women can use them too.

Really now, it's never been "cool" or "uncool" to use a browser. I myself use Firefox, but that dosen't mean that I dislike the others. Use whichever you like. Except for opera
