It takes -60 degree weather and blizzards so thick you can't see the street from the sidewalk before they consider closing down any schools.
(And Mom makes me shovel the driveway mid-blizzard anyway.)

HA! I laugh in your general direction. In Canada, no matter how much snow we have, we have to get through it. Though we're accustomed to this crap...

In Canada it depends where you are, in western ontario, manitoba and saskatchewan we are fine in 10 meters of snow, but everywhere else if they get so much as a cm the whole city shuts down and 23828324246 accidents happen.
