sure. saves water. I probably wouldn't do it while showering with someone unless theyre into that sort of thing, but there's nothing fundamentally wrong with it. oh and also

okay, so let me address some things here.

1. yes, i peed with her in the shower before, but i moved to the front, and aimed down the drain. furthermore, she's gotten out and pooped while we showered and got back in. i lose either way, either A) she flushes and i get burned or B) she doesn't and the funk lingers in the hot air.

2. i'd never pee in someone's shower that wasn't okay with it, i paid my equal share of the bills, so it's technically both of ours shower.

Well, peeing with someone in the shower might gross them out, there might be smells, etc, so I can't blame your girlfriend for complaining with the both of you in there. However urine is sterile, it all goes down with the water, it saves time and it's basically more eco-friendly than using the toilet since you're wasting the same water on the shower anyway. There are no counter-arguments to this. If everyone would pee in the shower more often, the world would be a slightly better place.

Well, if the water's running, go for it, it's not like the pee is going to sit there and smell. Peeing in a dry shower is asking for trouble though, believe me, I almost ruined a very nice guest bathroom by running in there and relieving myself in a tile shower when I had a particularly stubborn case of morning wood (and as a virile young man nearing my hormonal peak, this is not an infrequent occurrence). Took about three days for it to start reeking of piss, even though I rinsed it out after each "use"; I eventually took a page from my toilet's playbook and realized that the water has to be in there first to avoid grossness. It's sterile now, though.

On a semi-related note, anybody else love peeing outside? My god, I love peeing outside, it's like free-range artistic expression. When you don't have to worry about aim, stream, or concentration, the simple act of peeing becomes a leisurely and joyful act that's satisfying on a primal level, like a dog marking its territory.

So there you go, more than you ever wanted to know about my urinary habits.

You can do it if it is your shower. Don't try it in your neighbor's shower, your professor's shower, or in your boss's shower. Be warned, it is incredibly stinky so you might want to hold your nose for a minute.

Yeah, it's perfectly fine, no foul. Just try to do it at the beginning of the shower, elsewise you might have to wash up again.
