Those of us in the great northwest in the united states have been getting a couple of inches of snow. It is awesome to have class canceled.

Is it snowing where you live?

You're posting this thread just when the Australians are about to come online so I wouldn't expect too many "Yes" answers, at least not yet. :p

Eeeenope. No snow here in Florida. We did get frost on the grass last year, it was really surreal for me since I've never even seen snow.

God I wish it was. I live in Auckland so the chance of snowing is the chance of Chaos Space Marines asking the Imperium of Man for forgiveness.

I am in the Northwest. Not quite the Pacific Northwest (sadly not anymore). No it is not snowing on the other side of the mountains. Even through I was promised snow. I can say Snoqualmie and Stevens passes look horrible. Which pretty much scraped my plans for tomorrow.

I'm in California, and it hasn't even rained this month. I'm seriously getting worried about a possible water shortage, actually.

Six inches? Can't leave the driveway? What crazy talk is this?

When I lived in Utah we lost a car at the bottom of the driveway. Yes lost. It got buried under roughly 13 feet of snow. We only managed to keep enough of the driveway clear to park two cars there, the rest we just gave up on.

<color=aliceblue>I also had to walk uphill both ways in 20 feet of snow without shoes. Just burlap sacks that used to have potatos in them... Kids these days

I like that example.

OT: Mate, it never snows where I live. I think it's snowed once in the past 30 years. (Australia, for reference)

Why thank you. I would have made a Matt Ward reference but I didn't want to be snarky :p.

Oh believe me the winters here are usually not this calm. Last year while everyone was getting rain In lower Michigan the upper parts were having blizzard type weather. We actually had it where the snow had covered our front door and we had to dig our way out.

Nope, it's raining as usual in Wales.
Given to how much snow we had in Christmas 2010, I'm glad there had been no snow at all lately!

Evening in Australia.

Summer in Australia.

Ask if it's snowing.
