Poll: Is my galaxy mini completely screwed?

I decided to root my android, Did it succesfully. I tried loading a new ROM onto it but failed, freezing the phone, I managed to fix that using ODIN. My problem now however is that I went into ROM Manager again and tried to use clockworkmod recovery but my device wasn't in the list. One of the options said a few phone names and then "and more" so I tapped on that and it seemed to work until my phone just went blank....... I have tried booting it in every way (download, backup and restore etc..) but none of the button combinations work. The phone is not responding at all. Hopefully all hope is not lost. I can't make a "Jig" at the moment because I don't have the parts to make one but does anyone know how to fix this problem without one?

Does rooting the phone void the warranty? If not just trade it in.

That sounds....bad....I'd check around and see if there are any Android specific forums you might get some really good specialists on for advice.
