Okay, so I was playing a game of hardcore search and destroy in COD4 earlier, when the bomb was planted and all opposing players were killed.

So I ran to the bomb, but there were two people there already so I stood a bit away and watched as the first started to diffuse the bomb. But before he diffused it, the second player killed him to get the bomb for himself.

So I decided this person didn't deserve the points and lazily sprayed him with bullets and diffused the bomb myself. So he ended up with -50 points for his troubles, and I gained 50 for being such an upstanding citizen and all. =D

So.......do you think it was the right thing to do, or was I just as bad as the other guy?
maybe not but the imagery conjured in my head by your scenario made me lol
(who am i kidding you did the right thing)

No, the reason why is because all it does is escalate the situation. But yes it its justice, so its something in the middle.

Feh, team killing itself isn't that horrible. So team killing a tker is even more justified.

...And they will walk all over you.
On the internet, in your moment of weakness, someone will exploit it for their own personal gain. That's just the way it works.

OT: The prick deserved it. Someone had to intervene, and since you were the only one present, I can't say you didn't do the right thing.
Haha I think you misunderstand my postion on this. I am speaking in support of killing this Teamkiller.
The offender killed one of his own team-mates, therefore in terms of "Treat others how you wish to be treated" killing that bastard is a perfectly reasonable response

Wow I didn't think I'd went into enough detail to create imagery at all, never mind humourous imagery. xD

Guess you must have a good imagination... =D

No. It makes you just as bad. If you get mad at someone leave or get everyone to voter him out of the game. Doing the same thing just continues the cycle.

World War II was an international act of teamkilling a teamkiller.
I'm not sure I get you....do you mean they teamkilled teamkillers in the war or the war itself was a teamkill on a teamkiller?

That's how the IRL military should do things.

Usually I just try and vote-kick em', saves me the trouble.

Other times I just spray them down with bullets if he's just being an overall jerk to me and my teammates...
