A long time ago, Lucas Arts Succeeded in making adventure gaming fun. They created Monkey Island, Full Throttle, Sam And Max, Grim Fandego, and many other best-sellers. After departing adventure gaming around the year 2000, telltale took over "Sam And Max" many years later. The game was well-reviewed. Last year they were making an 5-episode game about Strong Bad from the homestar runner world. After many delays, the game finally came out, and I was more than dissapointed in telltale games for ruining Homestar Runner, not only was it not as funny as their cartoons, but the 3D environment didn't work out, and I found out Wallace & Gromit was coming out, I saw a video of it, and it didn't feel like Wallace & Gromit to me. Now they released Monkey-Island 5, and I only trusted the game, because Lucas Arts was apart of it.

I can't help but feel like telltale is Evil by taking Franchises I remember As an infant and ruining them. (I Apologize for the LONG paragraph)

I was thinking about when people would tell the teachers that you did something wrong and that was evil.

They have made some bad stuff, like the Homestar runner games, but they have also made some great stuff, like the new Sam and Max and Monkey Island games. They have helped keep adventure games alive so I would not call them evil.

I played "Baddest of the Bands", the third SBCG4AP game. I had fun. The hell are you talking about?

Making a game that turns out to be "bad" does not make a company evil. Unless they all knew with 100% certainty that the game was bad. And since we gamers as a whole have never been able to do such a thing how can you expect any different from the testers and devlopers.

I played the new Sam&Max games and thought they were great, and I have played and loved the original, so I don't see why anyone would think they ruined them. They're one of the few companies still making good adventure games today, so if anything, they're paragons.

And Homestar Runner was never all that funny anyway.

Can't call a company evil because they just have a different sense of humour than you.

I don't think that Telltale meet in their secret dungeon and draw up plans of how they will systematically corrupt peoples childhood memories. They are just not good enough at making games.

Telltale's picked up the mantle of an entire genre (point-and-click adventures) that was otherwise deader than Achmed the Dead Terrorist and brought it back to life, even managing to make a profitable company out of the deal. I don't see what's evil about that at all. I mean, it's not like they're Bethesda, essentially making you pay for Fallout 3 twice, $49.95 for the game and another $49.95 for five pieces of DLC that together don't equal one fifty-dollar game.

I've only played SBCG4AP, but I wouldn't call them evil. I'm agreeing with Simulord on this one, considering how I missed my beloved point 'n clickem ups over the years

True. Sam and Max was hilarious, and I've heard good things about their other games. What really bugs me about Fallout is that Broken Steel could have been part of the game - SHOULD have been part of the game. Giving us a crap ending and making us pay for a better one is real dick move on their part.

They have recently done the Wallace and Gromit games, and anything with that label is not evil. At all.

They are not evil, they are just not that talented. Everything they make ranges from "eh" to "decent".
