Poll: Is the Escapist mostly Anti-Mainstream? (Users more so)

I don't like the word mainstream, its too mainstream.

That opinion is sooo mainstream.

...aaaanyway, this community has it's share of hipsters, but less so than others on the Internet. For every hater of stuff that's popular on this site, there are many who have legit reasons for hating on certain things. And for every one of those, there are just as many people who love it (except maybe in the case of Bieber and Black).

but there is one thing almost EVERYONE forgets
most people bought the console version wich was worse ( i played ps3 and xbox360 at some friend's house and i bought it for pc) and PC has waaay better controls
i bet yathzee would have had less to complain about if he played pc (he admitted he only plays console games and some pc only games)

I find console controls easier than a K&M for most games.

well i replied to this:
Relatively recently, I did a poll. 50% of people (roughly) liked Dragon Age 2. The other 50% preferred old-style RPGs. I'd argue that Dragon Age 2 was adapted to try to appeal to the mainstream, and that the old-style RPGs were not. So on that basis, I'd say no.
and i am not saying that consoles suck i play alot of games on ps3 and xbox 360 im just saying THAT GAME is not good on console (deadrising 2 hunted demons forge... are all better on consoles) PS. im not an elitist because i pref PC lol

You didn't say what game you were talking about. You just said that it was better on PC.

You need to be clearer when you're talking, your fist post just came off all rambly and didn't make all that much sense.
