(Note: I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this. If it is, I'm sorry, and I will happily move it to a different part of the forum)

Who cares right now! Let's talk about Robots! (Its not like you can prove God one way or the other, but you can always trust in the metallic cluches of our machine masters).

I'm trying to gauge what people think before posting the whole short (and its off to Film Festivals right now, and some of them have a 'must never have been posted online' clause I'm not wanting to violate just yet), so any comments and suggestions would be awesome. Its a fun little indie science fiction/ dark comedy flick.

Synopsis:
This is the tale of Robot (a spherical creation with a top hat who has a body, wants human emotion) and Ghost (a misty blue undead woman with emotional problems, who wants a mortal body) as they emerge from their Steampunk-esque world to join forces and attempt to take over every universe in existence. However, when their original creator, a wild looking scientist, shows up to decommission them, Robot is mortally wounded. It is up to Ghost to save the pair from eternal doom.

A little history:
This film was made over three days in August of 2009 on a closed set built inside a rented warehouse. I got a chance to work with some wonderful people on this film, and think I learned a lot from it.

Now, what do I consider to be professional? Well, this short was shot on a Red camera (which now you can't go ten feet without tripping over one, but back then it was a big deal. Films like District 9 and Book of Eli were shot on the same camera) at 4K resolution, and was an excellent experience. For more information about the Red Camera (even though I'm sure many of you already are well aware of this excellent camera) go here: http://www.red.com/ . Using equipment that's considered industry standard alone I think qualifies me to claim 'Professionally made', but I also think it is the amount of professionalism that the filmmakers, crew and cast, have and which they used to preform their jobs wonderfully. I know it was a little silly to have to point that out, but I kind of felt it needed to be said.

Please let me know what you think.

Thank you all! :)

It's a comedy, right? Because I found it giving of a sort of "Stupid funny" vibe.

Not to be rude, of course.

Interesting that you should mention that.

Its a comedy in the same vien as Army of Darkness, so yes, I guess it makes sense that you would get a 'Stupid funny' vibe, sure. :D You're not being rude at all, interesting point.

I disagree with you and your assassin's creed style quoting system.

In my opinion, everything is true and absolutely nothing is permitted without equal or greater retaliation on the part of the universe. You throw a tomato, your house explodes.
