wow, that's a prank, we put a live sheep in the head of sports office (the sheep was dressed in frilly nickers with a sign saying "kiss me lover" round its neck!)

How is that a prank?

Putting up posters is a prank now-a-days? Sheesh, I'm getting old.

Lame Pony.
You and me both. I don't even understand how it could be considered a prank.

My big senior prank involved 4 chickens, water balloons and a bagful of stink bombs.

We used to put posters up all the time, as pranks go, it's weak sauce. I'm not saying don't do it, just do something else as well, so you've got something for the bronies and something for everyone else. Cos if I saw that poster up, I'd have no idea why it was funny, or that I was bring pranked.

Surely this will just get you stick from people at school.
Possibly stick you deserve.

Well, it's not a bad idea, it's just not a very good idea. But if it's what you want to do, i say go for it.
Just remember to post pictures!!

Doesn't seem very prankish to me; more likely people will just look at it and go... wot?
I'm aware of bronies, but even I'm unsure why that's funny.

Posting Ponies now constitutes as a joke?

Go for it dude. You'll get a lot of weird looks for it though. And dear god, imagine having to explain it to people. Unless your entire class consists of bronies or something, this'll hardly count as a joke.

I don't really see how that could possibly offend anyone so I say go ahead with it (could prove to be a bit of a chuckle).

I would say it is a bad idea because it isn't funny, interesting, or otherwise worth doing. What are you, 6 year old girls or something?
You're honestly saying it wouldn't be at all strange to randomly turn up to school one day with my Little Big Brother Pony posters everywhere?

I think that anyone who genuinely complains about it would be vastly more immature than your perception of the guy who came up with this.

But if you have a better idea then by all means share it with us.

as much as it pains me to say it, unless you put some rule 34 pictures (that would just have great shock value), it's not really worth it...

it's fun, sure, but it's not a prank in the slightest...

Well it is a bad idea, but only in terms of how crummy it is as a prank.

I can see it years from now:

"Aw man, we had this great prank at highschool, we stuck up all these my little pony posters!"

"Yeah and...?"

"No that's it."

"Uh...huh."

Serious stuff man.

How about not bother? It is high school. No one cares. No, I don't think it would be strange. What I find strange is grown men and late teens liking a show whose target audience is little girls. Not just strange, but really creepy to be honest.

On the last day of school I caused an obscene animated GIF (that my friend had drawn in MS Paint) to be displayed on all the school's PCs simultaneously during class. They had some software installed for teachers to remotely take over student PCs to demonstrate stuff, but they hadn't properly secured it so it was easy for me to fool it into thinking I was a teacher with the relevant permissions to do that.

Even that was a fairly tame prank. But it was funny.

[small](Didn't get into trouble, due to it being the last day, even though the head of the IT department knew it was me. Also I think because he didn't want the embarrassment connected with running a woefully insecure network, he'd rather brush it under the carpet. The third-party security solution he used which completely failed to secure anything probably cost the school a fair whack.)[/small]

I can't say I'm that interested in the show myself but then again I'm not very interested in Twilight, Half Life, Final Fantasy, Word of Warcraft, pizza, The Human Centipede, a huge amount of anime and many, many other things yet I'm not really going to pass judgement on the people who like them unless the individual in question gives me a good reason to.

Yeah, it's just a school prank and ultimately doesn't matter but that's sort of the point. It doesn't need to be some great scheme that will be remembered with glory through the annuals of time, it's just something that'll get a few confused and weird looks off people and that's all it really needs to be.

If the guy wants to do it then let him, it's not like he's hurting anyone.
