HAHAHAHA! that's awesome that is my kind of humor. It surprising that a church would have such a sing up. Oh well it gets laughs no doubt and it has to do with church. So all is fair ^^

that is freaking great!
*joins slow clap*

This is just so... I can't... I mean.... what!? It was supposed to be a virgin birth. This billboard is clearly stating God came down and boned Mary. That's really more of a Zeus action, methinks.
*adding to the slow clap*

So epic.

Whats so offensive? Joseph and Mary had sex after Jesus was born. The bible says he had a few brothers (and a sister if Im right) so whats the big deal?
That's what I was thinking. They were married, they boned, people need to calm down.

I'm not religious, but I could totally see myself going to this church if just to meet whoever came up with that poster. Great job on the sense of humor St. Matthew-in-the-city Anglican Church!

Virgin before jesus was born, mary had children after, James was Jesus' brother for example (half-brother I guess), and Joses.
Yes, I meant virgin as "did not have sex with God", not "did not have sex with Joseph"

If people are offended by it, they can just shut up. Freedom of expression, plus the church (and most other religions) leave themselves wide open to these sorts of gags anyway.

Yep, it is offensive. This is evidenced by the fact that people are taking offense to it. I don't find it offensive though.

I didn't find it particularly funny, but that is merely my personal taste. I prefer slap-stick.

That said, I applaud the church involved for having the good grace to take the piss out of themselves in this manner. I am more concerned that it was vandalized and stolen. Doesn't God say something about Thou Shalt Not Abuse Someone Elses Ox or something like that?

Hm... this needs a "hilariously offensive" option. Offensively Hilarious is up, but it's just not the same... :/

Even if it wasn't in front of a church it still is funny, maybe not roll on the ground in stitches funny but it still is within the humour ballpark. That a church put it up just makes it into comedy gold!

As a added note:

After reading the article I wonder how brain dead the people protesting against it are. "ohh won't someone think of the children" is their core argument, even going as far as saying it will ruin Christmas for the kiddies.

W... T... F....

Like a child even knows what was going on just a few moments ago in that picture and how, if they did, would it make them think less of Christmas. I mean, aside from the fact they view it as presents day and couldn't give two fucks about the spirituality behind it in any case. And here is where I shut up before I put my foot in it and upset the Christians who believe Christmas was a original holiday and not one jacked at spiritual knife point from the pagans.

Oppps....
