I went from an Xbox to a circular xbox but my first console (and favourite) was the Nintendo 64. I also semi-own a Wii. Good times.

Not at all, but I'll forgive you for thinking that. The fact is, she's as much of a gamer as I am - frankly I think she's overtaken me because I'm starting to slip into casual gamer retirement while she's pwning n00bs (as it were) in Halo 3. Between the both of us, there are not five titles we want to buy a PS3 for... yet... and I consider this the threshold at which the attach rate becomes attractive.Aries_Split said:

Was interested in MGS4 but despite it looking all kinds of awesome it really just isn't the kind of game I'd enjoy playing. Not interested in Uncharted. This is not a slight against the PS3 or its fanbase. I just have no use for one. Yes, there other uses for a PS3, but my 360 and PC can replicate most of them and I don't see the point in upgrading to Blu-ray movies at this time.
Lastly, the lineup for the 360 alone this year is going to keep me occupied so I just don't need to buy another console (whether it has games I want to play or not).
OMD thats just the same with me. The ps3 just doesnt have games that i want. Also theres the fact that many of the games mentions are single player. which isnt good for me since i have a bro lol. I can play both halo and gears of war co-op with him on 360.Kermi said:

Most likely they couldn't afford it when it came out, so they bought the 360 until the price dropped but then got stuck on the console.mjhhiv said:

I'd rather have Gears, Fable and Halo over Resistance, Metal Gear and Killzone. Basically, it was a preference for the games, just like many people bought the PS3 for. Even owning a Wii, I still buy PS2 games from time to time and I use my PS2 regularly as a dvd player. This may not change considering that Sony stated they were going to release 130 more PS2 titles in the coming months.

I had a Wii before a PS3 but I really don't count that since I only used it to play 2 games (Brawl and No More Heroes).
