Occasionally. I hope that one day, my work will be featured on that site. You know, when I start publishing it.

Oh yeah. And whenever I find a work doesn't have a page, or has a really sparse page, I usually take an hour to create one or make it better. It's fun to deconstruct fiction in that way.

I was gonna play some more Deus Ex this evening, but having seen this thread I guess I'll just read about it instead.

I've only done it with a couple of games, Metroid and Fallout, but I can tell it's becoming a trend as every game I play I think "I wonder what tropes this uses..."

With me, it's usually the other way around: I'll find some new show, movie, anime etc. on TV Tropes and immediately look for it on eBay.

If I'm ever bored, I read TV Tropes pages of the shows/anime/games/etc. I watch. It usually sucks me in and I end up spending hours viewing random pages. Damn, this site is addicting.

What's T.V Tropes?(I know google would tell me but I'm lazy.)
I thought Sucker Punch was OK it wasn't MIND BLOWING like it was advertised. I might sue for false advertisement.

All the time. Given the opportunity I frequently do it while watching as well.

Actually, I do the opposite. I go to TVtropes to get a better picture of whatever work before read/watching/playing/listening to help see if it's worth my time.

I do that after everything. I also use it to look up new webcomics to read. Just go to a theme I generally like and look up examples in webcomics.

I look at TV Tropes just for the sake of looking at it, not for any particular story. It is addicting and it sucks you in like a black hole.

After reading a book I like I'll check it. Mostly to see what sort of tropes I find interesting and perhaps look for a pattern as to what I like.

I don't go immediately after, but I tend to catch up on everything possible when I go back. I might go for 2 months before going back, and I check essentially everything I've liked in the time period as well as favorite pages.
...
now that you mention it, tomorrow is a good day for a tvtropes binge...

After? Please. I trope and watch at the same time. This is the Internet, the place where you can be watching Mad Men on Netflix in one tab, reading the TV Tropes page in another, and posting in a thread in still another.

Which, coincidentally, is what I'm doing right now.
