Not to nit-pick but they said it would happen "ON" the date of May 21. Not that it would happen as soon as May 21st occured at some place. Once it is May 22 everywhere, you can claim they were wrong with proof.

The thing I find interesting about the 2012 theory is that so many people base their belief on the end of the Mayan calendar but you have to wonder, if you're one of the most powerful empires in the history of the world (Arguably most powerful in the Americas at the time), Would you really say to yourselves "Let's make a calendar that goes on forever because we definitely won't have any time to make a new one later!" -_-chuckey said:
