Poll: It's Morphin' Time!

Alright, I'm in a silly mood and it's time for a silly thread. Who else, when he or she was a child, tried to morph into a power ranger, a la Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers? I'll admit that I tried it on occasion, in the same vein that people have tried going super saiyan, or lifting objects with their minds- you know it won't work, but it's fun.

Hell, I'll give it a shot right now:

It's morphin' time! Dragonzord!

I dont think i ever tried to morph... But i probably did at one point try to lift things with my mind... What a shame it didnt work.

I tried to morph on a few occasions, then I got the White Ranger Ninja Suit from the movie for a Halloween costume. I was deeply satisfied with this and my White Ranger sword. I was the man.

I still try to lift hings with my mind. I also wanted to try a Kamehameha Wave when I was a kid, but I was afraid it would work and my mom would scold me about blasting half of the house down.

I'm not too sure what it was about that show, maybe it was too cheesy/corny, maybe I thought it was rediculous for a live action show and thought it would have been better had it been a cartoon, maybe it was just bad writing/acting... but I just never found interest in that show at all. It just seemed so bad and so wrong.. they're just not my thing.

On that note, the original series was the best series (with Time Force and In Space are close behind it).

Oh lawd. Not the Power Rangers.

I fall into that narrow group that was just young enough to know what they are because they were new on TV at the time, but just old enough to find them horribly uncool and ridiculously stupid and campy in all respects, and willing to bully the younger nerds who turned it into a ridiculously bad playground game.

Oh lawd. Not the Power Rangers.

I fall into that narrow group that was just young enough to know what they are because they were new on TV at the time, but just old enough to find them horribly uncool and ridiculously stupid and campy in all respects, and willing to bully the younger nerds who turned it into a ridiculously bad playground game.

But all the fun comes from that campiness. It's got all the great silliness of the 60's Batman series, but without denigrating a beloved character. Besides, at times, it could actually be genuinely good.

Then, a few years later, I learned that Power Rangers killed SatAM. Confliction!
