I'm joining 15 others in the NO crew.
It's winter, though. And the first day of the FUCKING SCHOOL TERM.

Well, I can tell you that in England the sky is clear with only a few clouds and the sun is rising from the horizon

At least you didn't start last week. No thunderstorm here in Melbourne, the sun's shining. For once. It'd be a nice day if I wasn't so sick.

We had a couple of bad storms that set off the car alarm. But nothing to knock out the power.

Winnipeg, Manitoba here.

Not right now, but there was earlier. We went from totally sunny, to partly cloudy, to huge thunderstorm, back to partly cloudy, and finally back to totally sunny, all in about 20 minutes. Which is not unusual at all where I am, namely, New Mexico. Land of Enchantment? More like the Land BLACK WEATHER MAGIC, SAURUMAN-STYLE!

Recently we've been getting them almost daily. Stupid Prairies... Why must this summer be miserable?

When the power isn't going out due to thunderstorms, we get flood damage due to too much rain.

When we don't have rain or storms... We get swarmed by mosquitoes.

[sub]I actually miss winter...[/sub]

I heard a storm off in the distance. Not that it really matters for me. I have a UPS hooked up to both of my game areas (PC and PS3/Wii) so even if I lose power I have a few mins to save what I was doing and turn my equipment off. It also helps clean up the power signal, which can be somewhat erratic in my area. I am definitely glad I grabbed them both on sale.
