Didn't completely forget about this already or anything >.>

Time for the next league update!

1 paul wright Prolonged Rovers 76 2 4
2 Liam Baikie Nightly Rabi 70 4 6
3 Blane Byrne Blane's BPL All Star 59 1 2
4 Stef Pardoe Munch 54 1 2
5 Andrew Mills Andy's All Stars 45 1 1
6 Jonathan Brooks Wooty Wanderers 34 1 1
7 The Bobmus The Bobmus XI 31 1 0
8 Jamie Herriot SOS 0 0 0

So for the second week a row, Prolonged Rovers are at the top. However, the big story (no offence intended to Prolonged Rovers) is the huge leap in position Nightly Rabi made going from last place last week on 6 points to second place this week earning 64 points this week.

Besides that however, the placings remain the same, except with everyone slipping down one. And we also have a new competitor in SOS! So good luck to you!

For the second week in a row now congratulations to Prolonged Rovers! But will they be there next week?

Yay I joined and went straight to the top of the leaderboard. Dans Dreamers awaaaaayyy. I also just made a couple of transfers. Kompany, Oscar and Tevez out, Kagawa, Vidic and someone else in.

I made some changes, I put Angel Rangel, Tevez and Johnson in. I could have sworn I lost points when I removed a player.

2 weeks at the top! But man did Nightly Rabi make me sweat. If it weren't for some excellent Stoke defending and a wonder goal from Saurez I'd have been down to fourth I think. Nice to see the league taking shape though, I hope it's this close every week.

Also welcome to the league Dans Dreamers.

It might be if you transfer out a player who has played three and bring in someone who has only played two? I'm just guessing here.

Also, I reckon Johnson is a good shout with him no longer bench warming at the Etihad, might get a few assists and passes.

Made a few changes, took out Martin Skrtel and added Vidic. Also took out Fletcher and added Defoe.

That had been brewing in my mind all day, so glad I have done the changes now. I am not sure why I added Skrtel... brief madness I believe!

Also thanks for the Good lucks I may need it! :D

Made a couple of changes ahead of the weekend games. David de Gea out, Tim Krul in and Peter Crouch out Carlos Tevez in. Was going swap out Van Der Vaart too but I'm still on the fence on that one. I just hope Peter Crouch doesn't score a hat trick this weekend or I'll kick myself >.<

edit

ah Van Der Vaart is having a medical at Hamburg, so looks like I've got to transfer him anyway. Okay let's bring in Santi Carzorla as a replacement.

Not to brag or anything, but I have increased my lead at the top of the table. And I also realised I had two players I needed to get rid of. Phil Jones because he's injured still, so for 3 games I had a wasted space there, and Fabio, who at time of writing is on -2 points for the season. Put in Tomkins of West Ham and Ferdinand.

I wish I had saved a little for RVP when I first made my team. I just decided that I'd rather have the extra cash for better midfield players.

*shakes fist* DANS DREEEAAAMMMMEEEERRRS! You broke my combo!

Aside from being knocked off the top, this week was quite a good one for me. The changes I made paid off and if only my defenders or goalkeeper had kept some clean sheets, I could have held onto top spot.

EDIT

Congrats to our new thorn in my side challenger Dans Dreamers.

[SMALL]Be warned though I will not tolerate this challenge to my dominance for long.[/SMALL]

I see some of you have already checked (before I had) but for anyone else, here is the new standings!

1 Daniel Ritchie Dans Dreamers 136 5 4
2 paul wright Prolonged Rovers 126 6 6
3 Blane Byrne Blane's BPL All Star 94 3 5
4 Liam Baikie Nightly Rabi 88 5 6
5 Stef Pardoe Munch 81 2 3
6 The Bobmus The Bobmus XI 71 4 0
7 Andrew Mills Andy's All Stars 59 2 1
8 Jonathan Brooks Wooty Wanderers 45 1 1
9 Jamie Herriot SOS 26 2 1

The big news is that we have a new challenger in Dans Dreamers, and they have knocked Prolonged Rovers off the top of the table. Besides that the league table remains in relatively the same sort of order, except The Bobmus XI has leapfrogged both Andy's All Stars (damn!) and Wooty Wanderers after we had comparatively bad weeks compared to everyone else.

So congratulations to Dans Dreamers for their first week on the top! Can they match Prolonged Rovers and make it two in a row?
