[HEADING=1]Sandwich[/HEADING]
Here's a question, what is the name of this type of sandwich?
In America and probably other parts of the world, depending on what region you're in, it could have a different name. Here in New England, for example, it's commonly referred to as a "Grinder", but in other parts of the country it could be called a hoagie, hero sandwich or a sub. I'm sure there are even more names for it too, I just can't think of any more.
So my question to you all is, what's the common name for that type of sandwich where you live?
Where in New England are you? Cause the area around me everywhere I've been, Vermont, Maine, Mass all call them Subs

It's a sandwich. To be specific? The long kind.
/fail
there fixed it for you
I'm in central mass, and they've always been called grinders here. I thought that was the case in the rest of the region, it seems I was mistaken.
Ah, yeah, I looked up the difference and apparently a grinder is a specific type of sub, and the word for it is originated from Italian slang. A grinder is a toasted sub, according to wikipedia. Since it's wikipedia, make of that what you will.
