me and my friend Jimi (thats not an abreveation its how he spells it) have had this arguement once or twice.the title really says it all so.. who would win in a fight
here are the rules
there are dropped off in a random city in europe
you cant call in reinforments
they each have 3000$ cash

From a (film) canonical view, Bourne would have the upper hand in hand-to-hand because he's shown to be extensively trained in martial arts, whereas Bond films focus less on martial arts. But other than that small detail they seem pretty even, though Bond pretty much always carries some form of Chekov's Gun.

Some slash fic could get interesting though.

Bourne and Bond would have an epic,month long hide and seek game,but in the end,Bond would shag Bourne's girlfriend,infiltrate his hideout and after a long hand to hand fight,Bond would find a creative way to kill Bourne,delivering a witty one-liner,then procede to shag Bourne's girlfriend a few more times before dumping her to go on another mission.

Bond is a much more generic character and would lose. (Daniel Craig > all other Bonds btw)

If they were both in a story though, Bond would win. Bourne would be much easier to write in as the bad guy and Bond as the goodie. And, as we all know, goodies beat baddies.

bourne, his movies were better and if you watch james bond he never uses actual martial arts jumps stomach punches and lame stuff like that.

James Bond has trouble killing even one person in hand-to-hand combat, and as mentioned above he relies too much on expensive gadgets. Bourne is an improviser, which is useful in this scenario. They're both pretty good shots I think, but overall Bourne has the edge, so I'd hedge my bets on him.
