I don't think he's that much of a douche, but he doesn't know much about reptiles and is talking out of his ass. I will say though, I do love his show and he does say things that I do agree with.

He's pretty cool, has good days and bad ones. I don't know why but I thought this was really funny. He's obviously projecting from some past experience. I like ATH/PTI more though.

Funny thing is way back when he was still doing his "tour stops" I had the chance to meet him on a few occasions. Suffice to say he was a always pleasant and I always got the feeling the radio and television cockiness was more an act for radio and television than anything else. I still catch his show on ESPN when I can but I haven't followed his radio program in some time except to listen to the Smack Off and Year in Review shows.

Because TSN splits up it's ESPN sports show pack because they want to give that idiotic hyena-skunk hybrid Michael Landsberg more air time, Jim Rome is what comes on after Around the Horn for me. Fortunately I've become extremely adept at timing the channel switch so it goes right into PTI, and I avoid listening to this smarmy bugger. But yes, he is a bag of the douche.

i also do enjoy Jim Rome listen on the radio all the time. Although it helps that his show is followed by Mike Schopp and the Bulldog for Buffalo Sabres talk.

Yeah he is kind of a douche, but I feel like that is just who he is, his show is okay, I prefer Around the horn and Pardon the interruption.
