The man thinks putting on a funny voice and dressing up makes something immediately funny.

It's not, he needs to have something amusing to say, Saying a generally held opinion in a "Funny voice" is not comedy gold, Its makes you him like a child, and really makes his opinions not hold up as much as they should. Dressing up and putting on a funny voice, can be funny, look at Monty python, Jim's just doing it wrong. Why does everyone think they have to be funny to get views?

That said when hes not flailing around like a small child on Coca-Cola and speaking to me like i'm a person, he does say some interesting things

I hate the dumb aviators. If your inside and your dressed like some Matrix reject just put the stupid sunglasses down and save some semblance of your dignity. The show isn't interesting, it is just poorly rehashed versions of things I've already read. Yahtzee at least makes different arguments and has better production value. This guy just kinda sucks IMHO.

I don't like his show but when he dropped his character for extra consideration I thought that the points he brought up were pretty good.

The mix of satirical sarcasm he tries for, but doesn't quite achieve, just isn't entertaining.

I agree with him on the "sex sells" & "balance" principals, but mixing them together probably won't work out the way you would expect and you'd be better off without the ridiculous, and out of place character design ie chainmail bikini's.

His attempt to convey messages would be much more effective if he would just take the extra credits approach.

He talks in the most annoying way I have ever witnessed. I can't really hear anything other than "I'M REALLY ANNOYING" after 20 seconds. Really, I can't. I just can't. And the background music really doesn't help. He should really invest in better recording equipment that can filter out all the sounds between the words.

I don't like his videos. In real life he is propably nice person, but on those videos he tries to hard to be funny. I see the progress he make... The first episode of jimqusition was terrible. Last one... Was also wrong, but better. He tried to fight with small group of stupid haters using the same languange. The people who are against CoD franchise just because it's popular/it's not artistic are small minority. Those are haters... you can't argue with them. But he tries... and he fails... I don't even know why he made this episode. Did something happened with CoD lately that it did need defenders? Why he defend game when most people already know what they think about this game. At this point it had the same sense as making anti-CoD video.
Anyhow. He has knowladge, and he is good reviewer. I checked few his reviews, his opinions are usually supported but valid arguments. I think his taste is terrible aka. Witcher 2 but whatever, he made good points. I'm rpg fan so what he saw as big flaw for me was just minor issue. And you know what? Reviews are for you to check what someone else thinks, you read few of those, watch gameplay etc. and based on that you make decission do you want to buy game or not.

He's got way more than ten. He's been making Jimquisitions on Destructoid for a while now.

This video is actually pretty good. He sometimes jumps into "i try to hard to be funny" side, but overall he has something to say. I don't know why here he don't say anything relevant.

To sum up. In my opinion his show is poor. It's watchable, but only that. He improve quality, so i would give him few next episodes and see if he can somehow appeal to me. And as for Jim, i think he is normal guy who tries too hard to create his own internet personality, i don't know how he could change my image of him.

I really don't understand the hate for him. He's not actually an obnoxious ass, that's just his style of delivery, and personally, I love it!

In the first few agonising seconds of his début here on the Escapist, he outright insulted his would-be audience for supporting a notion that possibly none of us even cared about...

And if we ever did care about it, it was back when it was actually relevant.

The guy is a waste of space that genuinely talented people could be filling and the entire premise of his show is built up around being a prick about things that everyone stopped talking about months beforehand...

So no, not fond of him.

I really hate his show. While he raises a few good points, his trollific execution is what sickens me. He tries waaaaay too hard to be funny and still doesn't manage anything else than irritate. Personally i would like to see the escapist boot him off and try something else.

This is why I enjoy his videos. He seems very much not like me and it's great to hear "the other side" so to speak. He's telling me what I don't want to hear.

On occasion, the ideas that he's shared have helped me rethink some things. Like appreciating Call of Duty for what it is and not just simply dismissing it. And I agree with the idea of "objectifying everyone". Would it really work? I don't know but it's hilarious listening to him rant about it.

I enjoy his attempts at humour. I like his conceited shtick "Thank God...for making me." It tickles my funny bone.

All I can say about him after watching his shows is he is so full of it.

Irritates me quite a lot,but not to the point where I would stop watching the show.
