I haven't read the manga but I've been really enjoying the anime.
So far Joesph Joestar was my favourite character and part 2 was my favourite arc though it's a tough call since I loved the first arc with Jonathon as well.

I've not been enjoying part 3 that much tough, I liked Hamon a lot more than stands and so far it's not felt as enjoyable as the first two parts. It's probably just because it's a lot more drawn out and it feels like im watching filler as they travel to Egypt.
Are you me? You've pretty much described what my experience with part 3 was at first. And its pretty hard to come off the high that was Joseph joestar and hamon and pillar men and volcanoes to "yare yare daze" and oras.

All I can say is give it time. Part 3 is definitely the weakest of the arc to me and it does overstay its welcome a bit, especially when they finally get to Egypt and there are like 12 more stands to go through. I think Araki was just getting his feet wet because the very next part everything improves tremendously, making diamond is unbreakable my favorite arc after part 2. The stands get better, the characters get more awesome, just everything jumps up in quality. Even our own resident Jotaro becomes a more enjoyable char ^u^.

Yeah JJBA is becoming my new favourite franchise eventhought I only knew about it beforehand from the abridged version thank to the fantastic Antfish!

I just find it different and refreshing for a Shonen series like muscular character akin to Fist of the North Star (yes I read the mangka drawn influence from that manga) since you don't see that everyday. I also liked the posed and the rock band reference and it has a different story telling format by having different main character for each arc by they are all related by being in the same family bloodline or related to it.

Granted the only complained I have is that Stardust Crusader got really repeatitive once they started heading to Egypt. The episodes pretty become an villain of the week well two parters. Ok sure the villains were all cool and unquie but couldn't Dio just form a team togethers to take them head on instead of having a Stand user whose is powerful in his/ her unquie way and take out the Joestar members one at the time from a distance?

One last time is that I just loved how over exaggerated their emotion can get!! You can clearly see they were really panicking!!

I'm only as far as the anime, which is to say, not very, it seems, but hot damn have I been loving every second of this.
Joeseph Joestar is best jojo, but that first season probably has the best Opening theme this side of Hunter X Hunter.
(I'll give you a hint on my favorite Jojo character)

Baron Zepelli.
It's amazing seeing this now, and realizing how many things were influenced by the Jo's. I can only imagine that things like Shaman King and Persona have taken inspiration from stands, Guile is obviously American Stroheim, and I'm sure there's others.
About other characters inspired by JJBA. You are right, there are a few. From top of my head:
Benimaru from King of fighters is obviously Jean Pierre Polnareff;

Rose from Street Fighter is basically Lisa Lisa;

Juri from SF is inspired by Jolyne (protagonis of part 6);

Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear is Jotaro combined with Daisuke Ishiwatari, the maker of GG (Sol even says yare yare daze during some cutscenes).

There are others for sure.

I'd rather step on a nail than watch that supreme example of nauseating anime bullshit.

I'm going to start watching it purely because I saw this:

I do.
That is my level of appreciation.

Was that not clear?
Not really, no.

By "appreciation" I think it was supposed to mean "let's explain why we like it", what you said was kind of a buzzkill. :/
