AA12 with the extended drum magazine. 32 slug rounds at point blank range ought to be plenty to deal with him. What? stick to the list? fine
my choice: handaxe & shield
A handaxe is the only item up there that I actually have some experience wielding (mostly against rogue branches I could not effectively take a saw blade to rather than any kind of combat training, but that is far better than nothing). That, and I do have the strength and stamina to use the shield properly as an offensive weapon in and of itself rather than just to block.
If training were less of an issue (ie, I had basic martial training with all of these weapons at some point prior to the match), I would go with the zweihander with the naginata being a tempting second choice. Even in perfect shape I would not have the agility to fully use the potential of many of the lighter weapons listed above, but I should be able to capitalize on those two quite well

Why is the axe the only one to get a shield?
Except for the longsword, and sometimes the spear, none of the rest are normally used with a shield. (and both of those can be more effective without the shield in some cases) Either due to balance/agility issues like with the rapier, or because they can only effectively be used with two hands. Actually, the inclusion of the sabre here doesn't make a great deal of sense. Its natural "environment" is mounted combat. While it can be used on foot it loses most of the advantages of its design there.
