Poll: Just Broken The 10000 Gamerscore Barrier

This thread has probably been done a million times but there don't seem to be any recent ones so here goes.

Anyway, after about 4 years of having a 360 I've reached 10000G (although I only had 6000 around last Christmas time and I don't have Live (yet)) with Red Dead Redemption.

So firstly, what is your gamerscore, based on how many games?
And secondly, what game do you have the most gamerpoints from?

I have no idea what the typical gamerscore is so the poll might be wonky

Mines like..36 thousand something, you could find it on my escapist profile, and honestly It took my by suprise xD. I've had the same live account since my freshmen year of high school, which was about 6 years ago, so the points just kind of added up.

As for total points, I think borderlands, was around 1100 from that one before I stopped buying the DLC packs, most of my games hover between 500 and 700 points, aside from JRPG's since they just bassicly refuse to give you an achievement for anything and instead add like 6 SUPER achievements for roughly 120 points each that always involve a nightmarish side quest or grinding element.

Edit: Err correct that, apparently Im at 39015. Again, it really sneaks up on you O.O..

Er... I think it's about 200 from playing Dawn of War 2 on the PC. At least, it was until Microsoft decided I didn't own my account any more.

Yep, the poll is a little off, I know many people over 30k.
I'm around 10k-15k and have had my profile for about 4 years. I have no idea of the exact figure cuz I don't care about gamerscore. I just have a lot of games, and am a completionist. Still, the only game I've got max score in is Portal, but to be fair I've had max before DLC.

I play mainly online multiplayer which offers little in the way of achievements.

Do you even get anything for having lots of points or is it all will waving?

I'm on what I like to think is a respectable 18k, I find myself to be very busy working of late so I tend to only buy games I care about and try to get the full gamerscore for each, although I am rarely successful and tend to have around 800 for each game only stopping for impossible or grind fest achievements.

I have a couple of friends that take their gamerscore way too seriously though its at about 60k at the moment, which sound impressive until you find out that they've played some attrociously easy games just for the quick gamerscore.

Fallout 3 is the game I have the most gamerscore on. I can't remember how much exactly though. Between 900 and 1100 I think.

I could have more, but I dont go out of my way to get it. I just play a wide variety of games.

About 12k I think, it's on my profile if you wanna check. It used to be higher (weirdly) but when I hooked up to Xbox Live for the first time it decided to wipe the achievements for some of my games (Oblivion, CoD4, and a few older titles) and knocked me down about 4k from 14 to 10. It's taken me over a year to build up to 12 again, so I guess that tells you how important gamerscore is to me (ie, not).

It's basically just points added to your profile when you get achievements. It doesn't really have any purpose (afaik) apart from to tell you how well you're doing in achievement terms

I have about 22000 at the most, right now. As for the game with the most gamerscore, either Halo 3 (missing 3 achievements on that, and I have all the DLC) or Fallout 3.

I had to go and switch my Xbox on to find out lol, I don't really pay attention to my gamerscore since I rarely bother doing achievements in a game unless they are fun to do or you gather them by playing.

Only have about 8000, though I don't own a 360 - I just play on my little brother's.

I have no idea what mine is, I feel it is a stupid score only indicative of how much money one has to spend on lots of games.
