Just finished playing the demo on 360. It's really fun, though I think the controls are better suited to the PC. I'm might get it when I upgrade or just play it on low settings.
Oh. Trust me, there's stuff to do. Like jacking a plane and smashing it into a group of enemies as you float to the ground. Yes, there's stuff to do. *Twich*ultrachicken said:If it has a mission structure, maybe. So far it seems like prototype, as in massive destruction but nothing else to do.
fixed your post so it's accurate and concise.Eggsnham said:Just Cause 2 is super-crack.
pay... for windows...Kinichie said:And that means paying £35-40 for the game and £70-100 for Windows 7 which isn't really money I just have lying around...

i.. don't understand the question....
The question is how many missions.imahobbit4062 said:There are actual missions, Cause enough Chaos and you unlock them. The mission on the demo was quite cool.ultrachicken said:If it has a mission structure, maybe. So far it seems like prototype, as in massive destruction but nothing else to do.
Get to a radar station halfway up the massive mountain, hack into...something, then grapple onto a Resistance helicopter so he can take you to the target convoy, hijack, grapple and shoot the shit out of the convoy then take the Target to a dock where you make a stand with some Resistance fighters.
It has missions, and they are awesome.
where is this demo. PC xbox or ps3?Eggsnham said:Let my just say this now. Just Cause 2 (the demo) is like super-crack. And the game is like Mercenaries 2 on super-crack. It. Is. Awesome. If you don't have the demo, then I suggest you try it, it's thirty minutes of bliss. However, the game basically says "Fuck realism and story, I just want to blow shit up and have some fun!"
Let me give you a window into what I did in just five minutes of playing the demo:
I rode a gas tank fifty feet into the sky, jumped down, free fell for a few seconds, and parachuted to the ground. I then proceeded to grapple my way to the top of a mountain via the grappling hook. It was there that I spotted a helicopter. I stole said helicopter. After flying around a mile in the sky and being able to see every car on the ground (the draw distance is amazing and the graphics are beautiful) I decided to have some fun, I jumped out of my helicopter and as it spun out of control violently towards the ground, I managed to grapple onto the tail of the helicopter where I then made my way to the cockpit and struggled with the controls until I landed safely.
Get the demo. You will thank yourself later.
Brace yourself for this; all three.mrx19869 said:where is this demo. PC xbox or ps3?Eggsnham said:Let my just say this now. Just Cause 2 (the demo) is like super-crack. Ah, but you can explode stuff using a wide variety of weapons, tactics, vehicles, equipment and people. Yes, people. And then you can just fly around the game's something like 1000 square mile landscape, marveling at the beauty.ultrachicken said:The question is how many missions.imahobbit4062 said:There are actual missions, Cause enough Chaos and you unlock them. As I said, prototype had missions, and those were cool while they lasted, but in the end there was nothing to do but dick around by exploding everything you see, the same way, over and over.
