if i make the assumption that what you mean is that everything else is 100% perfect, and this one item is so bad it makes boardgames look epic, then i would have to go AI.

bad controls and bad camera just make a game really frustrating.

music really makes my game, i would never buy a game with bad, or worse no, music.

plot, characters and voice acting all kinda bundle together to create the immersion, plot is mos important, then voice acting, then characters, but any one of them being epicly bad would totally shatter the immersion.

graphics arnt a big thing for me, i can deal with low res graphics, and unsophisticated textures. but i cant deal with graphical glitches. clipping, artifacts, they kill a game for me.

Bad A.I. is the least of my concerns really. i dont mind an AI thats as thick as a brick, as long as the story and stuff are good, i can deal with hard mode being a walk in the park. if it goes totally the other way, and the game is just impossible to complete because the AI is too hard, i will bite the bullet and use cheats/trainers in order to see the end of the story.

Voice acting for sure. I can live with some bad voices, especially if the rest of the stuff on thar list would be perfect. Hell, if there was such a game, I would sell my soul for it.
I think we can arrange something.. Mind if I smoke? Don't mind the scent of brimstone, they're unfiltered.

Now... You want a perfect game with only ONE thing wrong with it. I think I can help you. But with the way the economy is today... One soul isn't enough.

What about your children, hmm?

I choose bad graphics because I figure it wouldn't affect the actual fun and functionality of it all, and I am used to playing older games that don't bother me. Though, I guess things like style might also go underneath that category, which could be a problem.

Dead space was ruined by the fact that characters are a bunch of c***s. They try to merge Prey, half life 2, and system shock and it all equals FAILURE.

A bad plot is totally acceptable as long as the gameplay is up to scratch. If the gameplay is good enough that's all I want from a game, a plot is a nice extra but too much emphasis is being put on it nowadays. Entertainment first, story second. Let's hope Mr Kojima reads these forums...

Definitely not bad music for me. Most of the time the music adds to the atmosphere, giving me a better overall experience.

Morrowind's main theme (Nerevar Rising) is a big favourite of mine, and conjures up plenty of gaming nostalgia.

Bad graphics for me.
If my love of unreal tournament has taught me anything its graphics are a worthy sacrifice for a great game.

Oh, it's easily voice acting for me. I can stand bad voice acting, all the others can in some way damage the game, whereas voice acting I can just ignore and use subtitles.
My thoughts exactly.

Definitely bad voice acting, because bad voice acting can be good in a comedic way, like this scene from Dynasty Warriors 3 [http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XF-MDuXXiSI&feature=related].

One of the things I love about Fallout 3 is that it has the same shitastic voice acting & actors Oblivion has.
