Tonight is one for me, I'm so bad for leaving things till the last minute. I don't know why I do it. Oh yeah! because I can!

I think the longest I've ever studied in a row was from 4 in the afternoon to 3 in the night... But I've never pulled an all-nighter. I need sleep!

I'm in school right now and I do it all the time, like once a month or as often I have a big assignment like a paper or something due the next day. In fact, just got through one just now.

Done it a number of times, i have serious trouble getting out of bed in the mornings unless i've had about 12 hours of sleep, handing in work at 9am is a *****.
Counting in gaming and tv series marathons i have done loads of all-nighters.
I get games, go on a binge and then don't touch them for a week then play them less but more consistently (minecraft, fallout 3, fallout:new vegas). Also about 20 hours on of one the 'the old republic' beta test weekends scattered between some sleep and four hours of badminton.

The only all nighter ive ever done was when I had to pull patrol in the army. Middle of the night in pissing down rain having to patrol and look for non-existant enemies.

It was only fun because I had night vision and an SA80 rifle. Never again, I love my schleep too much.

Wow what a coincidence, I also am on the last few nerve racking days of having to hand in an animation project. I guess I have the advantage because my family have realised how very extremely depressed and sttherefressed i am and are ore trying to help me out, (mainly trying to calm me down). Also I have about two days left. Well the best of luck to you.

Where's the "I'm probably going to have to, tonight and the night after" option? Seriously, I need to stop procrastinating. It'd b worse if I had my Xbox and Skryrim with me-Oh look, Tvtropes!

Generally not for work, but I'll pull them every other month or so when I don't feel like sleeping, and just play games or browse the internet. Definitely not the most productive way to spend time in college though...

Done all nighters, just not for school work.

Actually never needed to do homework at home, I either did it in school or didn't do it. I never did most of my coursework in high school and coursework in college was all done in school.

Longest I have ever gone without sleep is 4 days, I think I could have gone longer but the edges of my vision started to ... shimmer, so I thought better go to sleep!

Really Buddy? You stayed up all night and needed to share this expirience with the internet?
Did you call your parents already to tell them about this?

Never done an all-nighter to finish schoolwork, but I don't know if I'd claim that's because I'm more responsible than that.
... *shrug* yep, that'll do me, thank you.

I kinda rushed all my work during the day... when labs weren't interfering with my schedule... >_>

What?! How dumb is that?! If your class is any larger than about ten, I bet your prof just palms your essays on some bored TA who just arbitrarily covers it in red pen-marks... -_-

Did it for two weeks once.

I would pull an all nighter sleep one night, pull the following all nighter, sleep one night.
So basically in 14 days I only slept 7 times.

Honestly it probably wasn't the most productive system and it did make me go bat shit insane by the end, but it was an interesting experiment.

That kind of thing seems cool when you're young and retarded.

Unfortunately I am now older and can't physically manage such things. If I now pull an all nighter I die for a week.

Yes, I am. Bwahahahahaha!

Anyway... Third year college student, never pulled an all-nighter yet. I am usually pretty good on getting my schoolwork done on time. Of course, that does not mean I have not stayed up late to work on stuff (sometimes even to 3 in the morning), but never all night.

Absolutely. As much as I try to work at a regular schedule, I do my fair share of procrastination as well. Such as, you know, right now. I'm as lazy as lazy can possibly get, and only start working once the heat really gets turned up. If I don't have the impending sense that I'm going to be royally screwed if I don't get X, Y or Z done, I don't work. Too many books to read, too many games to play, too many contracts to take care of.

I'm in my master's and I still pull the occasional all-nighter. These wee hours of the night are where I get my best stuff done.

So here I am, more than 24 hours after the last time I woke up and without a wink of sleep inbetween. I had a horrible double case of procrastination and Skyrim this last week, leading me to pull an all-nighter to complete nearly an entire animation project in one night. I'm about halfway there, but it looks like I'll be able to make it before class this afternoon.

But I take it my fellow Escapists are much more responsible students than that, am I right?
Never pulled an all nighter. I always, and I mean always, completed Homework projects before I went to bed. I have a hell of a time waking up in the morning if I dont get atleast 6 hours of sleep, and God help you if I havent had any sleep and you start talking to me.
