Kamelot might be good if they released No Vox versions of their songs (ie the horrible singing removed), because the music seems genuinely good - but the vocals ruin it.

Ahh dude,i think he's an epic vocalist!
Different strokes for different blokes i suppose.I think the band are hard to dislike and even hate.

Simone actually sings back up vocals for Kamelot in The Haunting and several other songs.

They are what put me of metal. They look like pretty much every other metal band and there music is pretty much the same thing as what metal bands released at the start and will keep relasing.

Better than dragon force but not as good as nightwish

She's also on Blutcher and Season's End. Also I absolutely love Kamelot and Epica... along with many other bands you may not have heard of

After Forever is a lot like Epica, I'm obsessed with them too... etc...

I also think Nightwish is horribly HORRIBLY overrated... horribly

After Forever are pretty good

And yes, Nightwish are overrated. Not bad, certainly, just not as good as the hype would have you believe.

aagh good sir you mentioned epica! i saw them live in concert 2 years ago. amazing band i have all their songs.

as for kamelot i was going to see them live but no ride. and yes kamelot is awesome

I know of them. I've only heard two of their songs, "<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3rfK_uAhaA>Soul Society" and "<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T_RdUPNg6k>When the Lights Are Down" (yes, I first heard them through those two videos), but they sound pretty good. I'm looking into more.

The only two songs I got to listen to until now are 'Karma' and 'Love you to Death', which I stumbled upon by accident while browsing AMVs. It was the good kind of accident, though, these guys are pretty good. ^^

The only song I like by them is March Of Maphisto. Other than that, I don't like power metal or the like.

Something to know... The only reason I found and listened to that song was because it featured Shagrath of Dimmu Borgir.
