Poll: Kane & Lynch, why all the harsh critisism.

I seriously enjoyed this game, unless I am being swore at by morons for killing people who are traitiors to me. My favourite example was when i was gunnes down by all 3 other members of the same clan i just hapend to be with, so when i finished em all off, one said "YOU F''KED UP MY MONEY N'G'E'" repeatedly, the K&L is moronic, but other than that, and they hype, it was a great game.

I will admit that the Gamespot thing really coloured my impression of the game and hurt any chance it had of earning a spot near the top of the games stack.

However, I did rent it and play it for awhile, and I couldn't enjoy it. I thought the characters were bad and one-dimensional and boring. I thought the controls were terrible. I thought the AI could only be described as a bad joke.

I liked the idea with the Fragile Alliance multiplayer, but while concept was good, execution was *way* off.

I would've voted for controls, but I couldn't justify voting for "horbile" controls.

I had the PC version and I thought the controls were ok, I don't know about the 360 version
I liked the game simply because of its storyline.

(SPOILER BEGIN which is why the ending is is such a *%&!slap which ever one you chose.SPOILER ENDS>)

And apart from it being to difficult, I thought the game was pretty fun.
(then again, I haven't played Gears of war and such so maybe in comparison it sucked but I wouldn't know)
Overall, I found Kane and Lynch a worthwhile pursuit.

I'm gonna go with the fact that the controls were way off. I blocked everything else about the game out of my head.
Oh, actually I remember the story being essentially random, I missed one line in one cut-scene because someone was talking and then I had no idea what was happening or why.

Well, I enjoyed the game somewhat, but can't help feeling that it is a game with a shitload of potential that just was very badly executed. More story to the characters would be great. And a more sensible story in general. One doesn't really feel for the story. It is not pressing. I don't really feel the justification for the endless slaughter. I really lost interest when the game jumped for no aparent reason to la revoluzion in Republico de los Bananos or whatever it was. I just sat and stared and asked "WHY?". How come they have an army all of a sudden.
I really wanted the game to be good, but it was just underwhelming and bland. I am left with a feeling of "It could have been sooo awesome, but it wasn't..."

And the controls sucked balls.

I really liked this game's story, actually. I thought it was bold and impressive to make gamers play a violent psychopathic and actually experience what these people are like. No sugar-coating, no hero worship, just a brutal and honest look at what an asshole all these video game heroes would be like realistically. Reminded me of 'The Watchmen' while I was playing it.

Well, I, erm, theres no way to recover from this is there... I just thought that people either hated it to a point of no completion, or finished both endings. Sorry!
