Poll: Kryptonian or Saiyan?

I'd go with Saiyan for two reasons:

1) No weakness to Kryptonite.

2) The freakin' tail. There's times when it would be amazing to have a third arm, and that's basically what Goku's tail is. I can't not take that.

Superman's powers are all very well and good but seriously, everyone in the DBZ universe is so wondefully overpowered that it isn't really a contest. I mean, some of them can blow up ENTIRE PLANETS. So yeah, I pick them.

Blowing up planets is nothing Superboy Prime once punched reality, and broke it. Seriously DBZ is over the top but at the end of the day it has nothing on DC in terms of overpowered characters.

To me, a good character should have a SET strength level, if their new to the whole super power thing, than by all means, I will accept the discovery of new powers, but you can't expect me to believe you when you write," Oh he's at his strongest, NO WAIT, THEIRS A STRONGER ONE!!!" They have to get nearly killed about 500 times before they can kick ass but there has to be a price.

They can control the great ape form if they focus and the great ape can go super saiyan aswell,

They have no downside, sure they are not immortal but after so long you would just get so bored of living. They can train so they feel no pain from there tail being pulled, as shown by Vageta early on in DBZ.

For sure Kryptonian for me. I'm pretty lazy, so I don't wanna train forever to get super powerful. Plus there's a stage where you get too powerful and a fart could wipe out the eastern hemisphere. Not for me. I'm comfortable with Superman's stuff. Especially silver age so I can do ridiculous shit that makes no sense (JUGGLING MOOOOOOONS)

Both found in a ship, both adopted on earth, both discover they're aliens, both fight their own race, both have a human and alien name, both are humanoid, and both could essentially be mortal gods.

Yes. You were the only one to ever notice the incredible similarities between two incredibly popular franchises. Only you of the millions of obsessive fans wasting their lives combing thrugh this shit noticed that Goku and Super man might have similar origin stories. Go compliment yourself on your apparent freak brain powers and please get started on solving some of the other mysteries of the universe.

OT: Isn't this just a more vain reformulation of the old Goku vs. Superman debate? Well I'm game. I'd be a saiyan for a few reasons. 1: No weakness to kyrptonite, 2: No dependence on the sun 3: Awesome moon transformation powers 4: A tail, which I've always felt we humans as primates were cheated out of

Saiyan, for one simple reason: my powers would work anywhere in the universe. Kryptonians are super on Earth because of our sun. Move them to a different planet and there is no telling what may happen. Saiyans' abilities are self-derived and therefore superior.

Besides, getting wobbly around a glowing green rock is kinda lame. I'd much prefer my weakness to be a ten-course banquet. Yum.

And let's face it, we're all currently enjoying a game where the hero's notoriety is derived from his/her proficiency at shouting. Credit where it's due.

Saiyen, not because I preffer one universe over the other, or because I find ones powers are better than annother, but it seems to me that Superman never gets any stronger. Correct me if I'm wrong on that, I'm not all that familiar with the Superman universe.

Now as a Saiyen, it takes effort to continue to grow and get stronger. Keeps things interesting!

Saiyan. We can destroy a planet without much effort at SSJ1, and our power only multiplies from there (And yes, it IS possible for any Saiyan to go SSJ1. You just need to get really angry). Also, Ki is mystical/magical in nature, and therefore Kryptonians are weak to it. Saiyans can easily tank several hits from a Kryptonian, before hitting them with a moderately powerful Ki blast, and killing them. As for stuff I'd actually USE, Saiyans have a really high metabolism, and are capable of eating massive amounts of food and still retaining their muscles. That's all I really need, and the biggest reason I choose Saiyan over Kryptonian.

gonna go with Saiyan. Saiyans kill their enemies, superman does not. Course i suppose that doesn't apply to all kyrptonians but i still go with saiyans because then i don't have supes following me around in a creepy stalker way.

Saiyans eventually get stronger and can in the mean time blast, turn into monkeys, fly wherever while kryptonians need our sun.

Definatly Saiyan, Kryptonians feels more like a cheat.
And if prime can punch, Ssj3 just has to yell to pass to other realities. And as a saiyan there is no real need to charge you can if you want to power down.

So no real reason to roar. Plus you can blast people away perhaps even kill them by just powering up. plus you can change your hair and eye color. what's not to like. Travel meet new people and train with them the ultimate Spirit quest in to be as strong as you want mental and or physical.

Learn to master Ape form under the moon.

And what's not to like about the tail you can do really fun stuff with that ( Hello Pretty lady)

Plus you're able to learn to feel how the universe is put together DBZ. Anyone reading DB Multiverse it's quite good actually.
