Um... can we get some context here? I'm sure all the hip people here know what your talking about, but some of us are old fucks from the last generation.

I am of the opinion that it does. Kvlt is really more of a state of mind than anything, and they would certainly qualify.Zeconte said:

I kind of think Rage Against the Machine was pretty kvlt. Instead of whiny Grunge music, it properly encapsulated the feeling of living in a social atmosphere that was deteriorating, where a major crisis of capitalism vs. democratic values would soon (and prophetically in this case) begin raising its head in Western nations ... and translated that into effective metal/metal rap music of resistance (as metal should be).

I think that RATM might have one or two fast tempo, screechy songs that might edge towards possibly being black metal ... but I'm pretty sure any purist will say 'no'. Or basically anybody that listens to black metal.
