Poll: L4D Tank responses.

Well seeing as L4D2 is OUT- all us vets are going back to L4D to brush up. Thought this might be fun.

So what do you do?

Personally I either run at the tank screaming hysterically or RUN AWAY! - depends on my mood tbh...

Call it out to everyone else on my team and open up the assault; running backwards if I'm using the assault rifle and running forward if I'm using a shotgun.

i normally go with throwing cocktails at it for fun, makes it angry and its on fire now it looks scary thn i run off and look the panic room door behind me

Hide behind my teamates and shoot him at a far away distance. That is if i'm able. I'm usually in the back anyway, so I don't really have to worry about tanks all that much

Why would you do anything other then molly it/gas can it.. then shoot at it while running backwards in circles?

This may seem cowardly but I just run away and let the AI deal with it. As soon as I see that it's not coming for me then I'll start shooting at it.

I try to get some distance between me and the tank, and let my team be the meatshield while I fire on him. But if it's too close, I'll try to dodge around it while firing.

Other: Run away firing if its coming at me, then run away if its to close. When my other team mates get its attention, run at it screaming "YOU LITTLE ***** WHY DID YOU GO FOR ME FIRST THEN CHANGE YOUR MIND?! IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?!"

Seeing as i always play with friends, i ignore him and wait till he jumps one of my friends then i the rest of us jump him.

I'd do what everyone else does online: run away and perforate the hulking beast with bullets.

I fell into a routine after a few weeks. Hell, the whole horror aspect was lost on me after I'd played long enough to be more like a soldier than a random hoo-ha off the street.

Throw a molotov, run and hide till he goes after one of my team-mates than run up behinfd him and unload a point blank auto shotgun clip into him. Run and repeat
