Poll: Last time you bought a CD? (if ever)

Lets see: Mew and The Glass Handed Kites a few weeks ago, Both Tenacious D albums a few months back, No More Stories... (an album by Mew who's name is far to long for me to put) before the D albums, and the complete soundtrack for the first 6 Mega Man X games. Soooo, that's 11 cds in one year.

I always buy CD's. Ive never bought music digitally. I like having a CD. No fuckin restrictions on where I can plug it in...Unlike itunes which has a duck fit if you try and plug it anywhere but one place. Seriously I just lost my HDD inc all my music. I want to transfer my music, from my ipod, to my new HDD. But NOOOOOOO apple wont let you do THAT! Its MY FUCKING MUSIC! LET ME DO WHAT I WANT! JESUS >.<

Plus call me a cynic, but if that software ever dies I still want to have access to my music.

I've bought like 10 CDs in the past couple of years. The fact that that seems to be an abnormally large number saddens me.

The last one was Songs for the Deaf by Queens of the Stone Age. It was okay. Before that was The Great Misdirect and Year of the Black Rainbow, which are both awesome.

I bought Necroticsm by Carcass not too long ago (I think about a week? my head is pretty screwed at the moment)

I always like to buy CD's over downloads... CD's are easier to get the music onto new/different computers, and there is no chance someone can say you illegaly downloaded it.

Though all my friends seem to opt for the "Illegal download" method... I support the bands I like by giving them money!

I buy CDs all the time. Nothing like actually owning the music you pay for. I also drive a lot and since i don't have a USB input thingy, CDs are great.

I love russian pop, so if i want &#1042;&#1080;&#1072; &#1043;&#1088;&#1072;, &#1055;&#1083;&#1072;&#1085;&#1082;&#1072; or &#1041;&#1080;&#1089; albums, i get the cds and have them mailed. Just bought Waste Management last week

I usually buy vinyl records but I bought "Against the Grain" by The Veer Union because I knew I would be meeting the band and could get it signed. Probably won't buy CD's ever again.

But in all seriousness, I have been using amazon mp3 store for at least 3-4 years now. I haven't bought a cd in at least 5-6, probably more than that.
