Poll: LBP a "casual" game?

I consider it wrong to call LittleBigPlanet a "casual" game in the same way that I consider it wrong to call GTAIV a driving game. By calling it a casual game you're kinda ignoring the "hardcore" elements. I do not consider LBP to be a completely casual title. That is why I think that LBP is not a "casual" title (or "hardcore" title, for that matter).

I put the words "casual" and "hardcore" in quotation marks because I personally consider the two terms rather silly. I'd rather not explain why at the moment.

Arguing whether LBP is, in fact, casual or not is pointless. It's a matter of opinion. I never intended to start an argument, just a discussion. I'm interested in why other people consider LBP to be a "casual" game.

Ahhh, its tough to call.
I wouldn't say its the most hardcore of games but you must say that I can be played in a casual way. If you don't want to put to much effort into the game you don't have to, but if you want to spend hours creating a track you can!
So it can be thought of both ways I think.

And why are you trying so hard to try and "elevate" LBP out of its natural classification?

Because I do not consider it to be the game's natural classification.

I never stated that I think that casual gaming is bad and any times where I imply that are unintentional.

I made some points in the first post.
