Poll: Left 4 Dead's Story

Valve has shown its self to be king of letting the user create there own story/characters. Gordon Freeman is a prime example of Valves skill to let us as the gamers to create our own character. Left 4 Dead just brings to a totally new level of creativity in the story aisle.

And Left 4 Dead 2's Story: "Oh holy fuck, here come more zombies, run run run."

The story can really draw you in if you use your brain to create it, and it gets really interesting and makes you wonder: "hmmm, what if?"; "Hmmm, how did this?"... and (as I said) lets you create your own story.

There are plenty of games that have absolutely no storyline and still shine.

Example of this being Sonic the hedgehog. I mean, why is he saving bunnies from a fat red man anyway?

L4D Doesnt needa story its fine the way it is.
If it added a story into the quation it would probably make it worse.

Naw it's just fine the way it is. I like to pretend they're honest to goodness zombies. Not some weird disease that turns the living into the dead.

Traditional Voodoo zombie raised from the dead by asking baal the spirit of the dead to let them walk the earth by one powerful hougun lord. (Sorry if I got any of those voodoo spellings wrong I'm new to the religion)

It's a multiplayer game, it isn't supposed to have much of a story. If it had much of a story, people would be complaining about how tired they were of having to watch the same fucking 20-minute cutscenes every time they die.

The Zombie strain is a form of rabies found in beef and such, it was actually a growth hormone made by CEDA, They did not find out about the mutations until later. basicly, if you ate meet during then, you dead

look at francis. he looks like he eats whole cows, thats how badass he looks. and bill must eat some sort of beef jerky!. and not to seem racist, but lewis is black, therefore chicken must have been consumed. but idk about zoey.
