Success indeed.

On a test of my own face, I got 7.91 out of 10. But fuck, I can't see half of the points it wants me to set those things onto, since I have longer hair (that covers my ears, for example) than that twat on that picture.

I got somewhere between 8 and 9... The main problem was that my face was too thin/long or something, and the picture (the only straight forward one I could find) was taken with a lens that makes things look drawn out on the length... Wonder if I would get a 10 if I took a new picture with a normal lens? xD

Anyway, I already knew that stuff... Once in science class, when we were working about the golden ratio, we measured stuff (including our faces =P) to see how close to "perfect" everything was. I was pretty close. I'm guessing this program does the same thing to decide. And it's bullshit. I'm a 6-7 at most if you ask me.

I had trouble finding a good picture, the best i could find gave me a result of 6/10. Though the pic was taken rather oblique, so...

8.07. Well, sure. I'll go with that. I'll let myself have an ego boost.

I have poor horizontal symmetry.
Ratio from nose length to ear is nearly ideal
My face width to nose is nearly ideal
face length to face width is nearly ideal
My nose is too wide for my mouth.

6.14, but I have a beard and it was tough to find my lower ears and my chin accurately, I guess and maybe it skewed it a bit? I really should shave, but it's just guessing points. Hell, I could take a picture of a wall and place the points at random and see what score I get.

Well a 6.7 or whatever is fine
As long as the people I know think I look fine, then i don't care. AND I used a bad photo of myself XD

7.67 with male marked 7.46 marked as female. ; P
I was wondering whether I'd be first. No chance, eh?

I uploaded a painting I did based on one of the Hollyoaks girls in a Maxim swimsuit special [sub]Stoplookingatmelikethat[/sub] and got 8.9, which I take as a compliment. She's only a 7.92 as a man. *tweak*tweak*tweak* 8.9 again, but it's saying "poor horizontal symmetry" when I'm sure she got "good" as a female. *tweak*tweak*tweak* 9.16, yay! I moved point 1 a little bit sideways and got the "good" symmetry back, and moved the mouth end markers out to the ends of the mouth ends to correct for "nose too wide for mouth" but I still get told that nose is too narrow for the face.

Chloe-from-Chugworth-Academy cheesecake only got 8.01, because her nose is too narrow, apparently. *tweak*tweak* 8.46.

City of Heroes character (looking down) gets a lousy 5.81, partly for some of the same reasons. So far, that's every face too wide and too short.

Sarah Hyland gets 6.92, possibly due to the hair.

That'd explain the Terms and Conditions ... and their length ... and the tiny window available in which to view them.

I I like myself for who I am, and i don't need some machine to tell me how good I look. Ah who am I kidding, that's just what ugly people say! it gave me a 3! bwaaahuhuhuhuuu *snivel* In all seriousness though, I can't cry, and it just seems preposterous.

How does this thing work with people who aren't white? I get that modern Western beauty standards are highly eurocentric, but wouldn't purporting something that suffers from those biases as objective be kinda...deceptive?

They seem to have an odd idea of what constitutes a nose that is "too wide" as evidenced by:

I don't think I've ever actually heard of modeling agencies using software to sort through faces. In fact, I've usually heard they don't accept digital photos because of photoshop.
I used a picture of the Old spice guy and he only scored 0.1 more (8.35) than Michael Jackson, this thing sucks lol
