I have an OG Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard

I used to use a Logitech G15 for a couple of years before it died on me.

Now I'm writing on a standard Logitech keyboard from 10 years ago (PS2 connection yay) and been saving up to buy Corsair Vengeance K95, but it's currently not available here.

Wow. What happened to it?

Mine is 9 years old and has spent effectively that ENTIRE time turned on and functioning. My PC is basically never off unless the power goes out or I'm upgrading it.
The G15 is a little worn cosmetically in some places, but just as totally functional as it was 9 years ago when it first came out.
It's possible the LED backlighting might've dimmed a bit over the years.

I've considered replacing it with a G19, but I just fail to see why I would.

Some of the best $50 I ever spent.

Been using this for a long while. Keys feel nice and I don't think I could live without the media keys.

Well funnily enough I tried to take the buttons out and try to clean it because it was filled with dust and other nasty breadcrumbs and what not. And suddenly my 1 and A buttons stopped working after putting them back. And I think pressing the 1 button after I let it alone for a few days started showing up as the 7 button instead (the number when typing).

So yeah...kinda sucks..it was one of the best keyboards that I owned.

Through a mistake when asking my parents for a gaming keyboard for christmas 2 years ago I ended up with the Razer Deathstalker (I assumed they wouldn't get me a $200 keyboard, so I put that on there to assure that I'd get the Black Widow).

Gotta say, as soon as this thing dies I'm switching to a mechanical keyboard. I've been having issues with the digital keys and programmable keys are useless if you can't reach them easily without sacrificing control. The touchscreen is cool if for some reason one of my mice decides to act up though.

I have an ancient P/S2 keyboard. It's pretty horrid now, although I consider that to be a sort of security feature.

I have never felt the need for a more responsive keyboard and I've never been into MMOs so macros have never seemed neccesary.

I've always used to have cheap keyboards, even my current one was on sale when I bought it.

It's a bit different, but I've come to love my Cherry Strait (Swe layout). Very flat, but responsive keys, it's been great for gaming for me. Only downside is that there's so little to distinguish keys from eachother on a tactile level. The one thing I'd consider a "gaming" keyboard upgrade for is more tactile key surfaces.

But I'd rather pay up for a Razer Tartarus or Orbweaver than a gaming keyboard. (Orbweavers are ridiculously expensive though).

Well funnily enough I tried to take the buttons out and try to clean it because it was filled with dust and other nasty breadcrumbs and what not. So yeah...kinda sucks..it was one of the best keyboards that I owned.

Weird. I clean mine out semi-regularly.
In fact, I might do that tonight.
