This makes me uncomfortable, I have to walk round sporting a pair of 34GG's :( Not only do they hurt my back and chest, knowing that people are judging me for it makes me feel nervous. I always get accused of having fake boobs, too.

Please please, someone reassure me that I'm NOT being ogled and judged?

Any time this conversation comes up I always pull out this quote.

Tits are a lot like Coke and Pepsi, we might state a preference but we'll take whatever's on tap ...so long as its not flat.

Handfuls to petites are more aesthetically pleasing, and better suited to the type of person I like (I go for 'cute' rather than 'hot').
I wouldn't know about the more physical aspect.

And I should of course take care to repeat: Shape, perkiness, and curves, proportions, etc. are more important factors than size. It's all about what looks good on the individual woman.

And no: I don't mind completely flat chests either. Some pettanko can be very cute.

I would have said small breasts, but then my most recent girlfriend was a double D.

I know it sounds cliche but I'm one of the guys who genuinely doesn't care about the body. I tend to look at a woman's face first, then see what sort of personality she has. Everything else is just 'take it as it comes' really, no preference.

Although slightly off topic, legs are probably the bigger draw for me. I prefer women with nice legs and feet. Not to the point of fetishism, but in the same way that some guys are first alerted to the attraction by breasts or buttocks, my particular point is the legs.

I suppose my question is, WHY do you like large breasts? Do you like them because youre told to? Or because of... "practical" reasons?
The most primal answer is that seeing breasts, seeing that clear cleavage, watching that flesh roll or bounce tickles some part of my brain that I really like. The gaming industry seems to still be trying to grasp exactly amount of jiggle is just right, since the some boob-physics engines plummet right into the uncanny valley, and others get them better than reality (though, sadly the game experience is limited only to the visual.)

The going anthropological hypothesis is that the sag of breasts is used by the male brain to assess the breedability of a woman. Less sag equates to youth, ergo fertility, hence is more attractive. Note that larger breasts only exaggerate this assessment.[footnote]Of course, in this day and age, we have many technological innovations that shift this around, and help women appear younger, longer, from padded and push-up bras to implants.[/footnote][footnote]Interestingly, this is the basis on which we believe far-northerners (such as Scandinavians) have evolved blond hair. In an environment where the primary fertility indicator is covered up due to the need to protect from cold clime with heavy clothes, a secondary indicator became necessary, ergo the angelic (Anglo) golden locks. My mom and aunts, all of Swedish / German descent all lost their blond locks to brown after their first child. And this is evidently a common phenomenon (though, again, changeable by technological intervention).[/footnote]

My understanding is that America's obsession with monster mammaries is particular to the US, and that women in western Europe are less pressured to be or appear so busty.[footnote]Note the Victorian age when large mams were associated with nannies and wet nurses, and that women of gentle birth were advised to nurse puppies post partum to maintain their modest endowments.[/footnote] (Those who are actually on that side of the pond, please confirm or correct: are we ridiculously obsessed with the bosoms, comparably?) My own hypothesis is that we've been advised to wean children early since the early 20th century.[footnote]Babies were taken off breastmilk no later than six months, when they naturally want to nurse to around two years (sometimes more than four).[/footnote] And that we're all still fixating on mama. Note also, conservative American media freaks out about nipple exposures in public or in media (pushing movie ratings from PG-13 to R), and getting rockstars shunned due to costume malfunctions. So our obsession with the ta-tas could be related to our overt fear of sexuality. Forbidden fruit and all.

This is one of those cases where I feel the need to add a disclaimer, as it generally sucks to learn or infer that most of those to whom you are attracted want a feature you haven't got.[footnote]Size queens, the lot of them![/footnote][footnote]And then there's that multi-billion dollar industry reenforcing this belief-system that you aren't worthy of a great partner, for want of better skin or a thinner waist or whatever.[/footnote]: I've had girlfriends that ranged from gloriously voluptuous (I think G-cup, American was the highest letter I heard) to those who could pass the pencil test for want of substance [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pencil_Test] (and from late teens to early fifties), and every last one was rife with physical delights to be discovered and enjoyed in the bedchamber. Sociological studies have many times confirmed: the only true prerequisite for you being sexually attractive is a reasonable degree of health. (This goes for men, too.) If you're healthy enough to function day to day, you are hot.

I like large but really anything from B to FF is good with me. Has to be something there so I'm sorry A cup girls but I'm not a fan. My girlfriend is a C to a D cup and really any more and it would just be better to look at but too much in bed

Unfortunately, you probably are to some extent. But the (not very)bright side is, pretty much everyone is and on the brighter side, generally people put random people they see out of their mind the moment they stop seeing them. Overall, I would say its not a truly judgemental thing, so much as someone briefly taking note of the things around them, a passing thing that leaves their head as soon as you pass from vision, so hopefully you can feel that that isn't anything to feel nervous about. If you can just ignore the brief moment of male gaze as some guys brain goes "Woah, boobs", then flickers on to the next thing, you should be ok. You know they're not fake, someones brief jealous spat or stupid crude inquest should not be allowed to affect you too much. If its someone that is going to get to know you more so, then your personality will shine through.
This advice probably isn't very helpful, but honestly I've always thought a sort of 'water off ducks back' approach is the best way, even if its hard to actually achieve when someone is already nervous about it. =/

Having said that, my deepest sympathies for the pain to your back and chest. :/ It really does suck.

Petite just means small/little. It is used for clothes size more widely, for various reasons, but that is not its only possible use.

Okay, so through my looking and exploring of various threads in and outside of The Escapist, I've noticed that while not all men say Big Breasts are a key selling point, none say small breasts or even average are. So I'd like to, once again, pose a humble question, this time at the other side of the audience: Men and Women who happen to also like women, are large breasts better? If so, why? If not, are small ones better? Or medium? Why or why not?

Edit: I'm more interested in the Why then in the actual answer.
As someone who is attracted to the tall/slim physique, anything larger than a C (I personally prefer B but who's checking) seems and looks out of place. And it's more to do with the shape and curve of the breast. Since the tissue extends to just below the collar bone and pretty much the armpit, the breast itself has to settle comfortably, shall we say, forming a profile similar to a teardrop (view from side... and front for that matter, tapered upwards and well-rounded downwards... *shrug* sorry, bad analogy). I find this most attractive in 'small handful' breast sizes... as voted for. And by extension, fake = not interested.

Besides, with me, it's not so much about breast size as it is nipple sensitivity. =P

I mean, larger busts are classically attractive, but smaller breasts are just plain sexier to me.
Nnnnn, see, the thing is, 'classically attractive' (and by that I take it you mean in sculptures of antiquity, old masters etc.) women were/are of average size, but very... voluptuous (accentuated curves, wide hips, long neck (sometimes), shapely legs, even skin tone etc.) and with breasts to match i.e. pronounced roundness, and as far as size is concerned, they're rarely particularly large, average if anything.

More than a handful's just a waste. I don't mind too much, as long as they're not completely flat. Natural is ALWAYS better than fake, it just is.

If I had a preferred size, I'd go with a C. Higher than that and I don't get any additional amusement out of them though up to about a DD they do look quite nice. Once you get into the truly absurd sizes it begins to look grotesque.

I tend to find that when I consider a person its less about the parts as much as the way they all fit together. Harmony in body and mind shines through, while disharmony (even if you have all the perfect parts) Screams at the eye and the mind. So its less about the size and more about the fit, we've all seen that chick who's tits are too small for her and the like... thousand chicks who have enormous knockers that are just awful.

Buuuuuut, as a general rule, if a girls boobs could be used to smother me in my sleep its a turn off. Like this one chick at uni. Shitgoddamn her tits were massive, they just enveloped the desk we sat at. But it wasn't attractive, I was just worried about losing my stationary in there.

Ideally Id like ones that fill my palm but not much more than that, shapely and well fit to the girl. Because hey, boobs are for playing with and there's no fun in a toy that's too big or too small. But there is no cure for a toy that wont let you play with it.

if people are accusing you of having falsies they're probably more jealous than they are judgemental of your size, so don't worry! just people being people ( read: ass40l3z )

Who cares what size they are, so long as they match! :p
(i would provide a photo example but all the boobs on the internets appear to be bare and probably not acceptable on these forums, who knew?!?)

Seriously though, as long as they are the natural home made boobies they grew by themselves I'm fine with em, it's only the fakers that are a real turn off to me.

I don't dislike any cup size. As long as they look good on whoever they belong to. Don't get me wrong, I do prefer somewhat bigger breasts. I mean, I'm kind of a big guy and it's always a little awkward if I have bigger boobs than whoever I'm with lol. So my preferred cup size would be between a C and a DD.
Hitting the nail on the head. Although I'd add that the size has to fit the body type otherwise it's just weird.

I don't even understand the sizes so I can't really say specifically which I prefer. I don't really have a preference but sometimes the sort of smaller sized ones can be nice...? >.>

I'm personally in the small camp. Medium is okay. I won't say large is actually bad but she better be amazing because for me it's not a selling point at all.

But in the end I think it doesn't matter that much. Once you're with someone for a while and you genuinely care for them or even love them their breasts will always be amazing simply by virtue of being her breasts.

As to the why. I like the subtlety of small breasts. They're there, they're definitely there. But they're not so in your face as big breasts are. In a way they're much more teasing and seductive if you ask me.

Depends on the girl and depends on the boob.

My g/f has B cup boobs, or maybe a small C and they are lovely. I've been with girls who had DD cups and they were lovely too.

It just depends.

The size, shape and color of the nipple has always been the most important part of the boob, for me.
