I used to be a lurker, simply because of my non-existent self-esteem and the fact that I think everything I do, say or write is wrong and that my opinion is insignificant anyways. The only reason I joined back then was to collect badges. But those days are over and now I really enjoy telling my thoughts on a certain topic.

i'll have my post count speak for me.

yet i feel i'm in between i certainly do lurk. i usually lurk till i see someone i wanna quote.

since every feeling i might have towards a subject has already been said 15 times before me.

still a commenter would fit me more than a lurker.

Kind of a lurker, I still comment, but only in about 1 every 5 topics I read. I vote on all polls tho.

Lurk more than comment, I try to comment on everything but I don't because usually what I wanted to say has already been said or I just don't have a good understanding of the topic. There are other reasons but those are the main two.

I'm a lurker
mostly because English isn't my first language and my grammar is born in hell

Where's the "both" option? Because some threads I read and then don't comment in because it requires me to think too hard or are just too stupid to answer. Ohters I answer, like this one, because it is worth my time to voice my opinion or explain myself.

The mere existence of this thread makes any data that you get useless, because a true lurker won't participate.
Yes this is quit true, unless the lurkers vote in the poll, but then you still won't know who is a lurker, and now we are back where we started, an irrelevant thread
Embz didn't think this through did he...
OT:I comment.

I like how 10% of the people that have taken part in the poll have said that they're not going to take part in the poll.

Poll threads attract my attention more because they don't have a forced comment, but I do so anyway most of the time.
