Poll: MAG Public Beta

Ok I'm here to ask a simple question. I downloaded the Public Beta for MAG of the PSN and was extremely disappointed by it not being open till the fourth of January. My question is fairly simple, for those of you that have played the private betas how was it? Was it just a regular shooter or was it more and something to be excited about. For those of you that didn't play the beta, what do you think the game will be like? Are you excited?

It does. Takes some time to get used to, but better

OT: I loved it. It made my "maybe" into a "HELL YES!"

Definitely takes some time to get used to. And IMO Killzone 2 is the best controlling FPS on a console. In fact I would say controls are the worst part about MAG, but you get used to it.

The game is insanely addicting. I have never played a multiplayer game that has so much stuff going on around you. They really nailed the whole "your in a war" feel.

Basically give the game at least a couple hours before making a judgement. I was never really interested in the game but now I will probably buy it. I really hope they include a mic with the game.

Also please don't all of you join SVER!!

Q1: little to no lag. I only had major freeze issues during PAX.

Q2: Praticly every game was at full players. But they don't start a game till at least you got 3 full platoons to enter and it can be rather time consuming getting into one. Also due to the fact that you can only have one character in one PMC, more often than not the big games are only between Valor and SVER because not enough people joined Raven.

Q3: All I'm going to say is this 36kills 2deaths 1assist 32streak and that was using the M200 Intervention with variable scope.

I'm looking forward to it and the beta, but I'm slightly tempted to cancel my pre-order for it so I can pre-order Mass Effect 2 instead.

I couldn't care less, PC has ArmA and ArmA 2, both of which I believe allow for as many players as the server will support. There appears to be nothing spectacular about this game either.

Cause SVER was dominating for awhile, so everyone started deleting their characters and joining SVER so it reached a point where Raven and Valor never even played each other. Also SVER weapons do the most damage. Hopefully since alot more people will be in this beta the teams won't be as stacked. I personally have played as SVER and VALOR and I really liked the VALOR weapons more, but it sucks to lose every single game.
