Single player for MW2 does indeed look good...Alas IW have for some reason decided to alienate the a lot of PC gamers (myself included) for some stupid reasons...No leaning!? They've lost my respect and money.
First they slap our pc gaming bretheren, then they slap us 360 gamers too. If i hadnt already paid for my prestige edition, i wouldnt be buying the game.Snella said:I hate IW. They slap the PC community in the face and then act like we were asking for it. I'm not going to buy another IW game until they apologize and fix the features they broke.
Actually Activision wanted to keep them in the WW2 category but IW decided to go for a modern themed game, so your anger should be directed towards Activision.GotMurf said:Not really. They've overhyped their game because they know it appeals as much to the 'no brainer' FIFA market as much as it does to the gamers who actually enjoy FPSs. And their churning out of World War 2 after World War 2 game beforehand makes me less than impressed.
I play the game to play the game, not to talk to my friends. So it's not really a big deal to me if I can only talk to the players on my team.Kpt._Rob said:I was neutral towards Infinity Ward, until I heard that they're dissabling party speak for the multiplayer on Modern Warfare 2, which means that I won't be able to talk to my friends (who've been drooling over this game for months). The party feature is one of xbox live's biggest strongpoints, because it gives live a powerful social aspect, but you're so concerned with a minor improvement to gameplay you got rid of it.
So, Infinity Ward, if by some chance you're listening, I'd just like you to know that you can go and fuck yourselves.
And it's people like you that let get them get away with this rubbish...ALLxGHILLIEDxUP said:I play the game to play the game, not to talk to my friends. So it's not really a big deal to me if I can only talk to the players on my team.
Yes, yes it does.ALLxGHILLIEDxUP said:This is just my opinion but I really respect how Infinity Ward makes their games. While other game developers stick with the same 'safe' games, Infinity Ward is pushing how far a video game can go. This has been seen with all the controversy on the airport scene from Modern Warfare 2.
So here's the question dear Escapist, do you agree with my opinion? Or are you on the opposite side of the spectrum saying, "Infinity Ward is just churning out remake after remake of old Call of Duty favorites,"?
BTW, my name is the same as my xbox live gamertag, which I did aquire through CoD4, but no, that does not make me a Infinity Ward fanboy.
