Poll: Making a March Mayhem bracket is hard!

Gearbox vs Volition was probably one of the hardest, but 2K Marin vs Konami was worse O.O

Every Zynga matchup was hard to predict since I didn't know if people would collaborate to take them down from the beginning this year, and if they did: would Zyngas fanbase still make them win?

It's sad really. I know that I should have gone Pop cap and Zynga all the way, but I had to stay true to myself and what I liked and how I felt. Naughty Dog FTW.

Like with any bracket tournament though it is difficult. Who is less crap (in my eyes) Nintendo or Bandai Namco? What a tough choice.

Well, it was a little hard.

Though one can never know how things are exactly going to turn out. I doubt I will do as awesome as I did last year, but last year was basically an all out war against Zynga. I would have had an even better year if they hadn't messed it all up.


The final four for me is:

Bioware vs Blizzard

Valve vs Mojang AB

Since there is so much support behind Minecraft, I decided that Mojang AB will go far, though I feel that support for Valve will be stronger.

I made the final two a rematch of last year BioWare and Valve. Last year I chose Valve and got it right. This year I decided that BioWare wins the rematch.

Though I feel if I am wrong with my winner pick for my bracket, you heard it here, I bet Mojang AB will win.

You think Mojang AB will beat Nintendo?

I think Mojang will beat anyone exept for the really heavy hitters (Nintendo, Valve, Blizzard, BioWare)

My hardest choice was between BioWare and Bethesda. I had to flip a coin to decide. And that wasn't even the final bracket!

Yeah, that was a *****. I eventually gave it to Bethesda, who wound up winning my entire MM bracket overall. Guess the Skyrim trailer really did boost it for me.

I didn't bother with figuring what the majority will think. I just picked the developers that had done the best game, and the more recently, the better.

Firaxis vs. Bethesda, on the second round already was not fair by any means.

Eastern division is kind of brutal anyways. Blizzard and Valve have Northern & Southern very easy. And Western is so weaponless that Mojang will craft it's way through mines to very far.

I got stuck for a bit at CCP vs Bethesda, but went for CCP in the end. They make too much cool stuff to get rid of them that early on.

My final were between bethesda and bioware. So hard to choose.

But I know they'll most likely be knocked out in round one. I can dream though!

My first also. I guess I just picked whichever one I've seen the most positive posts about around the escapist and elsewhere recently. It would have been hard to choose solely on my experiences as I play games from a pretty specific set of devs.

Mine came down to Blizzard, Bungie, Rockstar North and Valve. Not sure how Bungie got so high and it was so close between Rockstar and Valve. I put down Blizzard as number 1.

The final was hard picking, I could of cried.

I feel I kept voting for Square Enix, just because I enjoy them, I wish I voted Mojang Ab over them :\

Valve got my win in the end.

Well, I seriously suspect Blizzard, Valve, Bioware and Zynga will be the 4:th final contenders in the end... But before that, anyone crossing their paths will be crushed under the boots of massive votes. Especially Zynga, as last year... *Shudders*

I don't know, I decided to put in a long shot for one of them. I think you underestimate the power that Minecraft has had on people. I've gotten more joy out of it then anything Nintendo recently.

Look at the bracket closely, Zynga can't be in the final 4 until they beat Blizzard, because they are in the same division. With what Zynga did last year, people need to rally against them and get out the vote for Cryptic. I don't care if people don't like Cryptic, there is nobody more hated in the realm of gaming than Zynga.

I'm a dreamer, so I put Zynga out in the first round, people just have to rally against them. I have Pop Cap out in the first round as well, because Pop Cap didn't get out of the first round last year.

The hardest I ended up with was Bioware vs Bethesda. That was tough.
And Valve vs Bethesda for the final was a pretty darn tough to call too. Had to go for Valve though, maybe Gabe will see the result, remember they still have fans, and make Episode bloody 3!
