My progression in life has been briefs as a kid, boxers as a teenager and boxer briefs as an adult. Since making the switch to boxer briefs, there's no going back. I like the length (perfect for working out and playing sports) and the support it provides the jewels.
I'm boxers, with the occasional rotation of boxer-briefs thrown in.

I've never understood the whole "jeans on the crotch hurts" thing whenever I have this conversation with people. Briefs are the ones with no legs at all. They're called "slips" in my part of the world, I'm going by Wikipedia vocabulary in here. I too have had my quota of images of dudes fondling their crotches, but I just HAD to make an underwear thread.Zhukov said:

There is such a thing as "good" briefs and "bad" briefs. Good briefs have a sporty, Tom Daley-look. BAD briefs basically look like diapers.

Man here. While I own an few pairs of boxers and two thongs, I've been going au natural for about 15 years now.

Boxer briefs without a doubt. They tend to be loose enough around the goods to be comfortable but tight enough legs to not have to worry about people seeing a little too much of you, which I have had happen. Not fun.
I've actually just moved back to briefs from boxers, having grown to an age adequate to understand why my father prefers them... You know what testicular torsion is? Not fun is what it is. Anyhow, I couldn't give less of a damn about what it looks like, there is literally no one in the world who is going to be seeing me in my pants. And I'd rather have some actual support as opposed to just hanging free all the time: t'is a needless frustration.
