So, Escapists, do you play video games while drunk?
I did play Black Ops and then Metal Gear Solid 4 (among other things) stoned and drunk out of mind one time, and I remember playing with god-like reflexes, out-maneuvering enemies and consistently getting 3.0 k/d (I'm a quiet drunk, but an active stoner, i.e. I do things when stoned).
Don't know about you guys, but I'm rather interested in playing Oblivion drunk and stoned.
Needless to say, this is epic lulz. Then again, drunk/stoned gaming stories usually are. I recall a person who got drunk in GTA IV then drove, then got drunk in real life and drove in GTA IV, [http://kotaku.com/5011147/grand-theft-auto-dui] with rather humorous results. From The Drunken Moogle [http://www.thedrunkenmoogle.com/]
Joecool, of the facepunch.com forums, drank a bit too much one night and blacked out. When he woke in the morning, he had apparently gone on a drunken crime spree in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, killing 131 npcs, assaulting many, stealing around 200 items, building up an infamy of 140 points and running up a bounty of 99,575. This was all new to him the morning after. If only real life had autosave points, too!
