Oh, it is. (That people will pull guns in traffic and such, nothing wrong with being ready to defend yourself from an attacker.) I've lived in tepid parts of the country for most of my life (that, and I don't go out much) so my personal problems with this sort of thing have been limited, but I've had friends who did precisely the same job I did get robbed at gunpoint and so forth. I think sometimes that I must have a magical psychotic-repelling field to have avoided all this stuff as long as I have.Quaxar said:That's... a pretty sick mentality from my viewpoint.
Either that, or everyone's just blowing smoke up my ass, which I won't completely rule out.
Addendum: I may actually have that psychotic-repelling field and not know about it. Most of the people I know rate me as having high self-confidence (which is a laugh, but oh well) and from what I have heard your psychotic bullying types tend to be very sensitive to that sort of thing. I'm the person who, when confronted with someone trying to, say, cash a clearly stolen check, will insist on ID and have them storm out the door (leaving said check in my hands) instead of actually getting belligerent. I have no idea how it works, if it does, but there you go.
