Well... considering it's only a "love" and "hate" thing then I refused to vote at all.

I think he's ok. I will say that he is very well spoken and can handle himself in a tough interview.
His music is "meh".

I like some of his music, but I think he's a pathetic attention whore otherwise. The whole antichrist thing is a boring and played-out gimmick to make himself look seem interesting than he ever was through his music. Nowadays he's no longer relevant to anything, so I really don't care about him either way.

Do Black Metal fans still wear the funny makeup these days? I always thought of Black Metal as being 'soft' Death Metal mixed with Classical and Opera... yet not as good as Death Metal.

You have to listen to black metal to get the sound as it doesn't have a general sound besides tremolo picking, shit bass and bad quality. Death metal usually consists of chug chug and blast beats (still fucking awesome).

Recommended black metal : Immortal, Mayhem, Burzum, Emperor

On the plus side I think Marilyn has a great aesthetic to what he does, and he knows exactly how to stir the pot to get the results he wants, both from his fans and from his detractors. He's no fool, he knows exactly what he's doing, and because of that he'll have longevity that will surprise everyone.

For someone like him to present such a powerful image and statement, and to be in such a position of influence, yet to squander it all by making such mediocre, industrial-rock-by-numbers music - that's what's always disappointed me about Marilyn.
